Just add another gyro, the gps will turn it to face the next way point.

First of all great job i really like the model.
So i just got it today, added a remote control with gps coordinates and only after long trial and error decided to read up on the comments.
I found out that it can only walk forwards unless you use a rail system.
Is there a way to change it? I would really love this mech to just patrol around my base. :steamhappy:

i love how stupid little things like this survive all the updates, but 1 tiny update would break an entire masterpiece.

These things were downright STUPID in Jak 2, So much that I believe I to this day has not completed that level. But they were fun to use in jak 3. Ahh, The memories...

Open up a creative world and press Control B. It should be at the bottom of your blueprints list. Make sure have the 2 mods added to the world. You can download those on the right of this page. If you don't add the mods to the world the model will still work it will just be missing a few parts.

@BlackArmor I have subscribed to this now where do I find it in game?

Thanks

Very nice. You're all set then, just press that button on the bottom and it'll walk in the direction the spotlight is pointing. They work in natural and artificial gravity btw.

@BlackArmor
The scenario I'm working on is a team based dogfight, were one side does a number of objectives, and the other side attempts to stop them. I've been trying to do it as an amalgamation of stuff from the steam workshop. The objective I want to use your drones for likely involves transporting them them making sure they arrived intact. I'm not quite sure. But I didn't actually need them to turn, I just wanted to make sure they didn't have a sensor thing that pointed them at players, which would cause explosions if put in a storage area or other space.

@Vanguard
Yes this version will only walk straight. I gave an example of how you can designate a route for it using a rail system in the pictures above, if you want it to patrol.

Also if a remote control is added I can easily make it turn and go in reverse as well. Let me know if you have questions, I'd like to hear about this scenario you're doing.
Tarshish 27 Jan, 2016 @ 9:25am
Does it only walk in one direction? No complaints if it does, but I'm going to use this for my scenario, so I kinda need to know if it will change direction.

Ha feel free to make one, I was going for a more compact build.
JB 12 Nov, 2015 @ 12:35pm
Where is the large ship version i require! ;)
doofy 7 Nov, 2015 @ 8:21am
Yeah, vanilla would be nice, but it is good.
Lystent 6 Nov, 2015 @ 9:23pm
Ah, cute. I always liked to replay that mission from Jak 3 where you actually got to conrtol one of those thing. Ahh, the shot up bots... and the sqaushed freedom fighters who were dumb enough to run in my way when I am not looking.
Webmind 1 6 Nov, 2015 @ 10:29am
Needs a "long chassis" version; also, keeping things vanilla would be nice...
Count Gockula 5 Nov, 2015 @ 9:17pm

Timers are a really cool block, allows for many kinds of walking vehicles and intricate devises
