Does this mod not work with rains gun mod? I am only seeing ammo spawning in crates that contain weapons.

I'm wanting to host a multiplayer world with my friends that's a pvp free-for-all but the vanilla map is too big for 5 people. This map size would be perfect but I'm wondering if it's added onto the vanilla map as an extra town/ city or if it's a standalone map? It looks amazing otherwise and really excited to give it a try!

Well i mean if it is part of the design, there is not much i can do :D
Like i said, the map is awesome, and the amount of car wrecks is per se not a problem. It still can be "stressful" :D

There will be a big update once b42 is the new public build but no plans on lowering the amount of car wrecks, part of the design I was going for was the feeling of a mass evacuation that went wrong.

So, the Map Mods is awesome no more comment on that.
The only thing that more often gets me to not even enter the city in my playthrough is the sheer amount of burnt out car wracks within the city streets. Its a pain in the ***, even more when you already have your own car.

Last update was 2021. So i guess there is no chance to alter this...

If the mod hasn't been updated since B42 released, then no, it wouldn't work because B42 has a completely different structure for reading the mods. B42 released on 17 Dec, 2024. This mod last updated on 22 Dec, 2021.

Yay! Happy to hear it will get updated. The big Resident Evil Mansion is my favourite base spot in the whole game!

Map mods will need to be re-exported with the b42 map tools and they will work fine. Any performance issues are not down to Bedford Falls as this map is used by a lot of people without issue.

if I read correctly, B41 mods won’t even be loadable in B42

Gonna wait until after build 42 is out to try this map as i've been having issues placing anything which results in a unplayable frame rate drop from 120 to 1 frame a second. with bedford falls deactivated the game plays normally
Until then i hope this ends up getting resolved, its quite the beautiful and fun looking place to explore.

i love this map, my one problem is some rooms dont have doors? and some have doors to a wall?!

@tilarium and all who use the NATURE RESERVE WITH BEDFORD FALLS ; PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS!

1. MOVE NATURE RESERVE ABOVE BEDFORD FALLS
2. DELETE NORTH! That creates that random line that DOES NOTHING!
3. Enjoy Map

You do realize that the map was originally map over 6 years ago and hasn’t been updated in almost 3? It’s very possible that updates to the game have changed things that cause issues with the map.

It will be getting a huge update once build 42 drops.

why sometimes i can't grab a item in locker or floor

Before I subscribe, does it has a police station and other community services like hospital or a fire department? (Gun store would also be great).

Okay, I see my error. It only does the weird thing on the initial load. Once I quit and loaded back in later, it fixed itself. I see now that those were vanilla assets trying to load in but getting deleted by the mod.

Damn, that's crazy... My reason for that is that it's the only way I've figured out how to get Better Admin Levels to work in MP. Oh well, guess I'll just chalk it up to a skill issue on my part.

That is because you are trying to play the game in debug mode, which is meant for debugging...

Tried loading this. Even with the mod sorter, some textures are just missing. Giant clusters of question marks that are apparently trees and bushes no matter what I do.

***PSA FOR ANY SERVER IN PROGRESS:*** Dedicated or local hosted or even solo. so I've tested this mod extensively on each of the aforementioned scenarios and only when the world is being generated does this map load all the way. Every other scenario you'll have half the road and half the buildings, tons of glitches and see-throughs. So for clarity. This does not work well with any games in progress. do a new load!

I have aiming issues using this mod. It makes it so all walls of bldgs (that are tall enough, like apartments) obstruct the view. is this because of another mod, or this one? on raven creek i had x-ray vision and could see through all walls. i dont know if this is a common issue

i made a reduced version of the map cut to the border of new tersh, is posible to upload or is posible add that reduced version of the map?

is this still compatible with the east muldraugh nature reserve? i've just done two tests on it and now there's a HUGE road leading to nowhere that cuts straight through the reserve

One road in, roads that don't connect to anything, dozens of cars in the road. Not a fun map if you're trying to utilize a vehicle.

I don't understand the rules for using this map mod for online servers. Id like to start up an open public server with this one, along with Chinatown and blackwood depending on how they would mesh, and I don't want to break any guidelines.

this is the real shape of bedford falls. [43,33]-[47,37] , [45,38],[46,38],[45,31]-[46,32],[45,27]-[45,30]

the map cells used in map and the game doesn't seem same. in game it seems to overright more cells. there's an extra road leading to monmouth country

Ok, a lot of steps here but bare with me.

1) Open https://map.projectzomboid . com/
2) Open the pictures at the top of the mod page
3) Go to the last picture (Picture 5)
4) Compare the picture from step 3 with the map from step 1
5) Put your mouse pointer over where the map shows to be in the comparison.
6) Look at the left side of the map webpage, in the middle
7) Read the third line, listed as cells.
8) Profit!
