@Infomaniac I will update my prisons to Update 15 and beyond, but it will depend on how much change a update have made in the game and correlating to the prison in question.

On the same topic, do you have something specific in mind?

Well your pipes are not the issue, its the pump station in general, If you cuase enough Damage around the prison the laborers cannot keep up. THerefor it makes it a bit easy to start a fire.

@000bonestone Not bad.
I could interconnect more pipes, making it harder to cut off the water flow. I like to have a "clean" layout for normal buildt mode, so I'll leave it for now.
It might be something to think about in a future update or prison.

2 days in game to start the fire, and about a day and a half in game fo rthe mother fucker to burn. really easy to disable your water supply, might want to fix.

yay just escape no fire aloud as it is OP just using 5 squad members. killed nearly every guard score of 1350 taken 1 day 20 hours (ingame) beat that

i beat all of you.... i went in to teh reception and a riot started so i walked out with my handcuffs on... although it would not let me leave :(

so i was playing dis escape mode and what happend was :


so i maxed out my squad and there was a riot so i decided to join in, i had 1 fat guy in my squad and 2 skinny guys.
when they joined the fight they pulled down their pants and ran around with shotguns shooting evrey little organism:steamhappy: den i decided to put the prison on fire and killing the warden
doing so 2 of my guys died in my own fire, 1 escaped by running to the gate while 2 gaurds were left

happy ending

It was SO much fun escaping this prison. I had a hard time beating it because every guard had a taser on his/her. I just escaped by slowly geting rep points and fully deck out yourself with upgrades; then get a group then get them decked out and then go to the tool shop and arm yourself then break into armory then you pretty much won

I killed a bunch of guards in the cell block, and just ran stright threw the main gates. Did not even have to kill the 2 Armed guards. They did not even react.

@Eternal Adversary Yeah, I played testet it and burning it all down while killing firemen, made it pretty easy to get out, so added sprinklers to slow that down :)

Tweaked patrols to make guards run in to you more.

@Wedge Antillies what way did you go? main gate, kitchen or staff exit. any changes that could stop you on your next run?

Apparently you cannot break out death row inmates :( Had 4 guys plus a death row inmate, Would not let me escape with him I was at the end of the raod and everything....

also did you add sprinklers recently? cuz that made it impossible to turn the whole prison into a burned up ruin like in my first run of this.

I don't know how but everytime i would press space to end a fight i would give me double the reputation so just spammed it and got 2 million rep. Then I got like 10 people to take over the cafeteria and with all max instigate everyone else joined in.

That shit was craaazzzzy. Only like 5 made it out tho :p

@BeardedS0ul Yes, in a way a shotgun would allow a run away. But a single one doesn't allow a full capture I find, which is my goal now to make it more difficult. 1 well aimed tazer either knocks the shotgun out for a couple minutes, or captures at times, making only one not an end gamer. Once you get 2 or 3 however... it's likely to end all resistance. With armed guards maybe using 4 at one area would work... costly... but still.. a group of 4 should be near impossible to handle without grave losses? Again, without replacements as mentioned before.. they will only last so long either way.

@FleissigTozzen & SirJustin Thanks for the feedback, it's giving me a great deal of ideas :)

I tried to escape myself and it seems to me that with a well upgraded squad there is not much that can stop you, as soon as I got a shotgun it was full on riot till the end :D

Tunnels seems like a bad idea in HSP, only seen the AI do it once or twice and never with good results >:D

I'm very satisfied with having slowed down the escape attempts and making them more difficult, thus making them more fun in my opinion:guard:

@BreadedS0ul Yes I know, keeping us professional escapees in is difficult, and I know it was never made for us either. But Ill keep passing on things I notice if you do want to make it semi-human proof. The last update sure made it more difficult in that regard. As for tunnels, its too bad we couldn't have cells without toilets... haha. I haven't tried tunneling out myself yet. I think it's near impossible to sneak out a spoon with all your detectors... not that its a bad thing. Good fun though for sure.

Well I managed to take over the entire prison room for room. What a huge task, was difficult and my first run failed, requiring a second group. The armed guards positioned together caused the failure and were a great addition. Still, the armory and powerplants accessible from the inside cause issues, still think outside the main prison area would be best, without it... only the armed guards could provide weapons for the most part, and taking over the prison is much slower and tedious when power is up. It seems half the issue is that this mode doesn't seem to replace cops and or staff. Which is something they need to work on. This run through, I found my biggest help while in max was the cleaning copboard... it provides clubs which are undetectable. But otherwise, great update on the prison. Was much appreciated and took considerably more time to get through the armed guards.

It's insanely hard to do anything in Escape mode at first - Good job on that! However, it turns into a slaughter if you get hold of a few other prisoners and get to the armory... xD

@SirJustin true there is always room for improvements.

Keep in mind that I designed the prison befor I know anything about escape mode. I was just trying to keep the AI from escaping, damn those tunnels :D

Keeping a human in is another challenge altogether, might try to put the power outside in a future prison :)
