No fire or afterburn, and you'd take constant tick damage only while in the area of the smog/gas. However, it would be ineffective against other pyros in the same way pyros are immune to afterburn. So it would be best to pair this weapon with a shotgun.
This would be an excellent area denial tool depending on how long the cloud lingers.
