I started this series over a year ago, but I lost the ability to play Train Sim Classic and couldn't continue. Well, a year and change later and I am back! This excellent scenario was, for me, a warm welcome back to Marias Pass. It was perfect start to finish and has made me excited for the rest of the series. Thank you so much for sharing your hard work and talent for all of us. You are very appreciated. Oh... and for anyone having a problem at the start waiting for the train to pass just bring up the menu and restart the scenario. The other train will then run just fine. Take care and onto the next one! :choo::chooo::choooo:

not sure of this one a great run but at the very start i move my train ahead but the incoming train approaches at normal speed but then slows to an absolute crawl . but if i waited for the train to clear it ran ok but no sound this may be my computer. Have enjoyed your work so far

trainlovercole: Glad you enjoyed it anyway, thanks!

I see. Oh well. I ran the scenario very happily.
Taconic Simulations  [author] 22 Feb, 2016 @ 4:02pm
trainlovercole: Thanks for the kind comment and interest. And yes, I'm aware of the issue, but I'm not aware of any way of fixing it. Also, you didn't need to remove it, by just restarting the scenario from the pause menu, the problem will be resolved.
Trainboycole 22 Feb, 2016 @ 3:51pm
Great third part of scenario. I had a problem at the beginning of the start of the scenario but im sure your aware.
I just removed the train and countiued on.

rwaday: By restarting the scenario from the pause menu this AI will be fixed. I have tryed many, many, many possibillities to get it to run normally but to no avail.

When leaving the yard there is a train moving in toe opposit direct at about 5 MPH then it just disappears. Why is this? Why not have it run at track speed and clear the switch?

Hi,
Yes I did complete the scenario with no problems. Also on reading these comments. Restarted RW and restarted this scenario and found that the Restart trick worked for me also.
Regarding the misinformation topic, had similar a week or so ago with having two Cajon Pass entrys. Once I identified which was listed with the wrong title. Using the associateed rt Nos, all I did was replace the existing route .xml with one from a backup_ problem resolved.

john: There have been problems with the AI in this scenario, but a simple restart of the scenario should clear the issue. It may help some of the issues you have experianced if you clear the game cache and/or verify files via Steam. Were you able to run the scenario to completion?

Just some other anomolys with this scenario. It turns up on drive/standard/Marias Pass as "Zhis is the," and in RTools as BNSF ES44DC, as below , weird.

Had similar to CPHank. But in my case, the AI went very slow for awhile. Then after 10-15mts just vanished and I got a green to enter the mainline, weird.

Thank you

CPHank: Thank you for your kind comments. I will make a note on the bug fix.
CPHank 29 Sep, 2015 @ 4:31pm
:steamhappy:Thanks, joshusharkness and elvis56.
**** Important note for others who may encounter the conflict in start:****
I was restarting the game, as in, going back to main menu and starting again which did not work.
Once I used the "Restart" option when attempting to quit while in the game it worked.
Great work Joshua!!!

elvis56: Thank you for your kind comments. Much appreciated. CPHank: I belive I may have set the priority of the first AI train lower than that of your "Z" train, as it would be in real life. However, the "TS Dispatcher" tries to route your train out over the single track but cannot because of the oncoming train, which then creates an AI conflict in the scenario. A simple restart should clear the issue.
Flywheel 28 Sep, 2015 @ 6:20pm
Thanks very much continues the excellent series, fantastic views and traffic.

For CPHank, the same thing happened to me, i just restarted it and away it went, justa small hiccup.
CPHank 28 Sep, 2015 @ 6:04pm
The train that is supposed to pass right at the begginning will not clear. It moves very slowly and would take over an hour to clear the main?

agsieg: Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad you liked the scenario. More to come.
Micro and Soft 27 Sep, 2015 @ 8:53am
This is a agreat scenario! I didn't think I'd need so much throttle for it!
