Thanks. :)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 4:01am
It is referring to the hero editor. No other mod is needed. You're welcome! :)
ShadowDragon_79 20 Nov, 2017 @ 5:11am
Is "Coat of arms" referring to a part of the hero-editor, or to another mod that is necessary to use this?

Otherwise, ore base colours are a nice idea, thanks. :)

A poll will be launched to elect and rank the 20 best mods of AoW3 as of 2017. In order to shortlist the 20 mods, I opened a discussion here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/226840/discussions/0/1473095965290519438/ Please share your favourite mods there. Please also comment on the mods already listed so that we can see which are the favourites to be in the shortlist.
More Colors for Coat of Arms is already in the list as it ended up #11 of the previous ranking! :)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 28 May, 2017 @ 5:32am
It adds 32 colors and 1 grey for coat of arms.
anolisjd1990 23 May, 2017 @ 7:19pm
Is this mod, does it include more colors as the main colors? i see no difference so far.
Robin of Spiritwood 1 Jan, 2017 @ 8:28pm
Really a big improvement to the game. Tastefully done.
Lars 5 Feb, 2016 @ 4:33pm
Definitely improves the leader customization. Thanks!

Thanks very much, so much better, I like to customize all leaders and now some of them dont have to look like clowns anymore for lack ofcolour options :D!

Thanks! Enjoy! :HappyMask:

Great colors - great mod!
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 9 Dec, 2015 @ 2:03pm
It was a very unfortunate coincidence without any doubt, yes, or if it was a bug, then it was due to another mod. Thing I'm sure of is that this mod only adds colors, it doesn't modify how they are chosen by IA or anything else, so the bug doesn't come from it.
Parker Posey's Mouth 9 Dec, 2015 @ 2:31am
Hey, I ran the mod a few times, and it was apparently working, but for some reason, every faction but my own spawned with a slightly different variation of Brown on Dark Purple, which was very visually confusing. I don't know if this was a bug, or a deeply unfortunate coincidence, but it made the game a little weirder than anticipated. Just a heads up.
Kiwipels 7 Dec, 2015 @ 2:59pm
I love this mod, thank you :-D

I got it working, thanks again

C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\My Games\AoW3\UserContent\Frost Specialization

You'll have to create the Frost Specialization folder manually, but I'm not sure if it is even required.

Thanks :) By any chance do you know where I would put the file? I can't seem to find much online
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 2 Dec, 2015 @ 7:47am
Hi, you can use http://steamworkshopdownloader.com to download the file.
Just paste this URL in it.

I have this game on GOG but want to use this mod. Is this available somewhere else/ could you possibly upload it somewhere? Thank you :)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 1 Dec, 2015 @ 11:26am
You're welcome, and thank you for the kind comment! :HappyMask:
Crazy Alchemy 1 Dec, 2015 @ 6:16am
Thanks for the awesome mod btw I'm glad to see that there are useful mods and not just custom maps now.
Crazy Alchemy 1 Dec, 2015 @ 6:12am
Why is this a mod and not an official feature of the game? This would have taken practically no effort on the part of the devs.

I love Triumph but it's a bit dumb that they gave us such limited choices for faction colors, it led to a lot of conflicts when trying to create custom games.
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 21 Oct, 2015 @ 9:21am
You're welcome, and thank you for asking as the infos can be useful for others!

Now enjoy and don't worry, be happy! :HappyMask:
Rhedd 21 Oct, 2015 @ 9:19am
Thanks!
I sound nervous, but I've already changed a ton of leaders to your great colors, so I'll just live with it. ^_^
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 21 Oct, 2015 @ 9:17am
I don't know how the Workshop works when you remove your mods and if all the games are managed the same way, but if it can reassure you, I have no plan to remove my mods, even if, well, we never know.

And if I remove them one day, I will probably make them available elsewhere and I'll give the link here, or will give the ownership to someone here to keep supporting and providing them.

In any case, I'll do my best to avoid the problems you're suggesting. :HappyMask:
Rhedd 21 Oct, 2015 @ 9:09am
Thank you for the info. I ask because I play Space Engineers with a lot of mods, and that game likes to just delete mods from your game if the author removes them or they otherwise disappear from the Workshop.

Do you know if AoWIII does the same? Because that could cause terrifying problems with my beloved leaders. :P
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 21 Oct, 2015 @ 9:04am
Your game will crash as soon as a leader using these colors appears (so when you open the leader customization menu or when the main menu apears at game launch if you last played a leader using these colors), this is as simple as that.

To avoid this, replace all the mod colors by vanilla ones on your leaders and eventually start a new game, save and go back to the main menu te replace the last player leader appearing there, all this before uninstalling the mod.

About saves made with leaders which were using different background mod colors, I don't know how the game will manage them after uninstalling if your replaced these different background mod colors with the same vanilla one, but I suppose that the game will automatically replace one of them (in the current game) with another vanilla color, like it do when you choose two leaders using a same background color when you start a new vanilla game.
Rhedd 21 Oct, 2015 @ 1:23am
VERY useful mod, thanks! But what happens to characters that are using the new colors if the mod is removed?
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 19 Oct, 2015 @ 12:25pm
Thank you guys! :HappyMask:
Lord Magus 15 Oct, 2015 @ 7:46pm
Nice mod! Finally, I have more colors to choose from and all of them are pleasing to the eye. Great work!
Furin 11 Oct, 2015 @ 4:53pm
Very nice! I made a human theocrat with royal blue and white and he looks badass :)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 11 Oct, 2015 @ 7:11am
You're welcome! :HappyMask:
jconsort 10 Oct, 2015 @ 9:22pm
Thank you, it's the simple things that are never mentioned!
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 10 Oct, 2015 @ 6:59pm
In the game launcher, open the User Content tab and press the Update button. That's as simple as that.
jconsort 10 Oct, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Does not seem to be working, seeing how many love this mod is there an installation tutorial ? (I must be doing SOMETHING wrong on this end)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 5 Oct, 2015 @ 12:22pm
No problem at all! With pleasure! Do it! :HappyMask:
Tanksy 5 Oct, 2015 @ 12:21pm
If it's alright with you, I may be including this in a collection alongside my own personal character edit mods so that I have a collection of neat mods to expand the customization of things.
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 5 Oct, 2015 @ 12:19pm
You're welcome! Thanks! :HappyMask:
Tanksy 5 Oct, 2015 @ 12:13pm
Chosen this mod over the massive 430-ish colors mod, as this is plenty and carefully chosen. Thanks! :)
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 12:51pm
Hi Star-X, thank you for the nice comment. To answer you, nope, the mod only adds colors and doesn't edit or remove anything. If a color was missing, your game would crash. And, by the way, it isn't even possible to delete vanilla elements with the modding tools. You can only add or edit.
Star-X 4 Oct, 2015 @ 12:21pm
I like this mod since it gives options without being overwhelming, but, correct me if I'm wrong, are there some missing vanilla colours? My Draconian Theocrat looks different with the royal blue colour than he did without any mods...
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 5:42am
You're welcome! :HappyMask:
SeekerOfMoons 3 Oct, 2015 @ 5:28am
Oh, thanks Nolan.

I tried it and you are right. My last game was with a leader with extra colors. I started a new game with a «vanilla leader» and it fixed the problem.
Nolan Kotulan  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 5:02am
This is because the leader which is appearing on the main menu (the last one you played) still uses this mod colors.

You have to start a new game with a leader using vanilla colors, save and then come back to the main menu before uninstalling the mod.

This isn't a bug nor something I can fix; this is like in any game, when you add content and then remove it, if you still have references to what has been removed in the game or saves, there will be holes and/or crashes.
SeekerOfMoons 3 Oct, 2015 @ 3:26am
Thanks for yor work Nolan. But I think there is a bug. The game is broken if I try to turn off the mod. Even if I return vanilla colors to my custom leaders, the game gets a black screen after login with the mod disabled.

PS: Sorry for my poor English.

Nice mod, been wanting more color variants, and hey LOL been using your ESO addons for quite awhile now.
