Thank you.
Or a separate assets like walls... don't want to be offencive with request, but canals looks so cool - texture, small piers... just atmosphere they bring that I just can't stand not to ask =)
A question: is no option to choose the direction of the "16x4 block" to put?
Any chance you can make werf-kelder style canals like in Utrecht?
Would be nice to make my own versions of both Amsterdam and Utrecht
Thank you

First unsub an resub to everything, wait for the files to download.
Then...
1) Load the corrupted savegame.
2) Pause the game.
3) Save the game again.
4) Load the new save.
Let me know if that fixes it.

Then all one has to do is what you said already: terraform it somewhat, put in a waterspawner (or hook it up to some existing watersource like river). Et Voila............
Now wish i knew how to create my own buildings, hahaha. Im not a blender or 3d kinda person. More a gameplayer with imagination.
Cheers and looking forward to whatever you create next. Up to now all beautiful stuff in my opinion.
Anyway, your canal asset/mod/addon or whatever is very nice for decoration for sure.
But i took the liberty to expand my own idea somewhat and have made a simple example presented here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=519714512
(yes, that is also a sneaky way to get some more people on my created maps >;) Not that they are the best, but not bad either i think)
Anyway, i dont mean this to disrespect your creation, it is a very nice creation and i am using it for the smaller canals we have here which it is perfect for. So by all means continu producing nice stuff.
About the tiles I was talking to Doggydog about square water tiles with the same static texture.
Just kidding. Hope i brought some people to some nice ideas as that is what is nice too in my opinion.
You just terraform in a nice canal, using a straight road as guide............ then one could put a road on the bottom, (or use walls assets that can be placed anywhere without road if they exist, not sure)........ put them walls in place........ fill it up with a waterspawner or 2, or a wateroutlet station, and draw in a ship path with another nice mod which makes it possible to adjust the shiproutes ingame.
Just an idea.
There are also wateroutlets that can be used to fill such a pond.
Either way, pretty nice addon you made. These canals are in the city i live in too. There is even a small river flowing under the city i live in, called the Dieze...... it was build over the river basically. Maybe with some imagination (like the pillars/collide mod) one can build buildings over these canals and have something similar to what we have here in 's- Hertogenbosch.
