No, the intention of this mod was..
to be able to connect wires to those "old fashioned" base.
( I should have read my own description above FIRST :D )

So.. the output power does not be tripled automatically.
But if you connect three solar things(collectors?) their ammount of power will be added.
Before you got 4 in and 4 outlets. Now you can collect the power of three panels or whatever AND connect one machinery... on the same panel :)
gregolego gaming ඞ 7 Jul, 2016 @ 7:19am
wait... so you connect 3 inputs, and then the output gives off 3x the power?
Eagles 7 Oct, 2015 @ 7:07am
Dont think you will loose them but better of stay on the safe side

I am glad i have not UPACKED any plugins lately.
I would have run crazy if my game has stopped working due to those bug ;)

The most important thing is.. that the game save file did not get corrupt..
Plenty hours of work lost.. is horrible!!

I didnt mention that when i deleted that xs file i deleted and the rest of the files of the mods maybe it helped but its nothing even if you delete the rest of the mod files to you still play where you left every mod since theres a solution its not a big deal your mod is great and helpful thumbs up

Unpacking is only needed to "look" into a mod to try changing things to see what happens :)
Unfortunately it seems as if this is bugged now -.-

Eagles 6 Oct, 2015 @ 9:00am
Yes after unpacking it
DHLF  [author] 6 Oct, 2015 @ 7:24am
@eagles
Sorry for the delayed response..

Did you get those problems AFTER unpacking my mod?
As.. many people use it without problems(otherwise they would already yelled the hell out of me..)

If you need any information about the mod like what changed and so on(only ONE!! logical thing had been turned around ;) ) just feel free to ask..

Had the same problem Eagles. Deleting ccsettings.xml doesn't work. Maybe I need to reinstall.
Comissar Squidwardavitch 5 Oct, 2015 @ 2:54am
there is only three things added in this, im wondering if you have other mods that use this?
Eagles 4 Oct, 2015 @ 9:40pm
Fixed found the solution googling it it came up with Drams fix lol

Dram [developer] 8 Oct, 2013 @ 9:42pm
Hi yeah definitely try to delete your ccsettings.xml. This file is here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YOUR STEAM ID\244030\local\ccsettings.xml

Please let me know if it helps!

dariusz1983 4 Oct, 2015 @ 12:28pm
Check out this addon: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=442197953
It actually reskins some stuff. There's also a guide that comes with it.
DHLF  [author] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 12:05pm
Ouch!
Did'nt knew that before.. sounds easy now :)
dariusz1983 4 Oct, 2015 @ 12:01pm
The beauty of it is, you don't need to! You can use the workbench to look at it. In the workbench you can see which texture files are responsible for the look of the model. Then, in the objects config file, you can add a single line telling the game engine to use a different texture for this object, thus reskinning it.

@dariusz1983
If that would be so easy..

Ripped out of the script:
MODEL"obj/structures/mars_base/wall_small_powersocket.xob"

For example those model file.. I was unable to find a program which work with *.xob extension.
dariusz1983 4 Oct, 2015 @ 11:32am
Hey DHLF, nice work. There is a guide on reskinning stuff. All you need to do is copy one of the textures, paint the green ring around it, and add something in the config file. The guide explains it. Cheers!

I usually build what I like to call "A base station" which acts like a capacitor, All of my solar panels plug into it and it joins all the electricity together, I tend not to put these on my base its self.

That being said I havn't finished a hab since the update.
DHLF  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 10:26am
Well, modding is EASY.. if you got lucky to find the proper information..
There are good.. tutorials.. but i have not bookmarked them :D
So I had to try over and over again to see what was wrong..
I will try to add some information in the description above..
Bohdan 3 Oct, 2015 @ 10:18am
Lol,it does look like Dram has made it very mod friendly. I'm a fair ways away from being able to mod though methinks
DHLF  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 9:29am
Dont thank me, thank Dram:veteran:!
He forces us to learn modding :rover:
Bohdan 3 Oct, 2015 @ 7:46am
Thanks for this man! :steamhappy:

@SuAet
Thats.. f***ing brilliant!
And I though placing those panals at the crater edge(so they are somehow facing the sun in a lower angle) was a good idea..
SuAet 3 Oct, 2015 @ 6:01am
Here another tip. Use the corner connectors instead of the round blocks and just place the base high enough to put the connecters on downwards. Like I did here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=528901020

Also watch to direction your pannels are facing. If the sun isnt changing much its position you can place them at the hilside to increase power output. In very good condition even 300 W per pannel is possible.
DHLF  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 5:23am
I am sorry for having NOT been able to change the look of the tile itself..
like.. separating those special plug with a green sourrounding or so :(
Maybe someone of you got a hint how to do this..
