The reason I mentioned motors isn't because of it being fan driven but more of a cold gas thruster almost. Using a motor to drive a compressor that applies atmospheric thrust. The model doesn't have to exactly be accurate to what it is, and I feel thruster components are kind of pricey for atmospheric use.

The lore reason: they're basically just ion thrusters that work differently; it's not like they have a fan or anything that actually needs motors.
The actual reason: it didn't occur to me at the time that I should have done that. :V

As for the 20x power, it was because it really was necessary at the time. Why it was necessary, I can't remember.

But why thruster comps? They're RCS. Shouldn't it be something more like motors? I know that sounds really stupid, but it's better than thruster comps. Also why is the atmospheric panel thrusters 20x more powerful at all? Why not just make them the same as normal thrusters but only in atmosphere?

Why do atmospheric RCS units take 3 thruster comps? Not even a full on small ion booster takes 3.

When I hear from not7CD I'll let you know. I've been talking with a couple of the other modders updating old out of date mods. Since I know most of the old modders, I figured I'd step in and try to help. A bit easier when you have a familiar face to use for these sorta things.

Also, don't want any fellow people getting hit with an account suspension.

The changes this patch does aren't really too important, all things considered. If extra power variant parts of were implemented into the official mod, though, that would be absolutely amazing.

Hey Meta, I'll see if I can get not's permission (I've known him for a while, might be easier for me) to get stuff uploaded under proper official channels. How important are your changes/the warhead changes? Would variants of varied power be worth it?

The booster has a 3x power and power consumption boost over the original. I'm not too sure making it any more powerful would be a good idea...

I should have mentioned that this patch is supposed to go above the original mod in the world mod list in order to work. This overwrites the original blocks (instead of Kuisa's patch , which creates a new set of warhead blocks and can be put anywhere in the list (in theory).

i can not place the hull head. at all, nothing works. which is why is dont like this mod. but its probibly a fault at my end. can you place give a full youtube vid on how to build the torpedo. each and every part. can pangura do it the youtube'r that did the review on this mod. :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:
