It's a nice map, but the 'ending'... A robot basically teleports in directly behind you, with added invisible wall to stop you going behind it. Following this chase,
you are stuck in a room.
Other than that and the fact that even the enemies can get stuck in the walls (probably not the map's fault, just ask the AGDQ people). Regarding objective structure, get omnitool & get out is simple yet easy to understand,
at least for those who've played SOMA.

i recently bought soma on steam and this was the first enjoyable map i've played from the workshop (i started browsing from older ones), the monsters can be tricky, the map is dark, has some atmosphere and a reasonable amount of furniture in it. objective is simple and playtime is short but as a learning experience it's great :) i'd like to see more coming from you, i definitely gave it a +.

Pros:
-Uses the best enemy in the game.
-Great work with the WAU tentacles. I really hope some more mods will delve in the Gigeresque aspects of SOMA, especially from the demo. Still have hopes for the brain thing and the spider.
-I really like the atmosphere from before you encounter the first enemy.
Cons:
-Uses the best enemy, twice. It would have been better if there was only one enemy but if it followed you around.
-The ending, it's not even obvious it's an ending.
Nice mod overall, a little short, but it has great design.

Crashes when i try to play it, after i press "New game" and it goes to the loading screen, then it crashes. :steamsad:

Good Job! There are only few bugs:
-Doors buttons
-Wall Collision
-Wall transparency


I hope the project will continue ;)

I found myself glitching through walls with the lean function once or twice and some of the doors do not close once opened. These are minor issues though and this is one of the better mods currently available. Nice job!

I had fun outsmarting the enemies. With some AI placement changes and a bit more AI variety, this would be a really enjoyable sneaking map. Great job!

I referenced the official "[DEVELOPER TEST] Small custom campaign" maps. You need a basic understanding of scripting tho.

It was alright, i manage to get trough without dying. Until ofcourse the ending, but even then i strafed and juked him out. Without a working patrol i juststood behind him and he couldnt see me anymore. So yes! An ending and no deaths!

I can't seem to load the mod. I select the second option, then load up Lab Accident, click new game, and it crashes while loading. Anyway to fix this?

Click subscribe and when launching Soma normally select the second option.

proxy monster has a unique design, where it doesn't just stay active like other monsters. as far as i can tell, it needs some scripting and path nodes. more info later

In the "launch mod", I just see "downloading entry" and nothing happens... when I try to launch one of them, it's just the real game which begin o_O

While I was recording it, I had it on max grama but I had to mess around with my xsplit in order for everyone to see what I was doing. Still all in all the best map on steam by far and I hope you continue to make more as well! This could have had a story but what you did was basically a story. So I did enjoy myself I hope you make the next one longer if you can! Keep up the great work!

This was an enjoyable short-campaign. A bit too short. I also miss a story.

Even though it's just a learning experience, I really enjoyed it! Short, but awesome!

I've recorded it as a little kind of "Let's Test It" so more people will see it, I hope that's okay! :)

I know I just can't figure out how to use them correctly. I think for a custom map you did a good job with the lighting since it was a short level. The ending was good too.

A compination of box lights, Point lights and spot lights. In my map the lights can be better and definatly need adjusting. I took reference from the games official maps.

Great map dude, I actually really liked it. That's what I love about custom maps, at first the level design comes as a surprise. So once you encounter a monster, you have no idea what to do, and it becomes a little creepy.

I managed to make it work, it seems that in the CS's folder (steammaps/workshop/content/number/anothernumber/, just open the folders and you should be able to eventually find it) the file "LabAccident.cfg" should be named as "entry.cfg", I just renamed it and that made the custom story appear (of course you have to restart the mod launcher), hope that helps you guys.

The mod is decent, I didn't expect a masterpiece since the game has been out for just 10 days, if you got time try to at least place some pathnodes to make the monsters walk, it was really easy to complete just by passing next to them, good job for the quickly made mod.
