Still works great. I put two close to each other, to each side of the sorting box mod. Then I fill them up, and can just take all, and move it to the sorter.
They work great together.

The Center map , all engrams can be unlocked, Boosted player stats (for example 1 point to weight = +100),
Default Offline raid protector with 30 mins cooldown, Faster Incubating/growing/raising/imprinting baby dinos

Player max level 199, Wild dinos max level 150,
Tamed dino max level 373 (if its caught 150wild and with 100% taming bonus)
baby dino can be higher

Tame Manticore and Wyvern with the usual taming method

@ Lila - You just have to move away a bit, so that you can't see the Bench anymore. It's like it needs to be reloaded by the game to reset for a new deconstruction... ^^

I really got used to it, i stuff it full once, use it and then i move on with other stuff... :D

installed it on my server. :csgox:problem: i can only use the deconstructor ONCE. after hitting the deconstruction button, the items are getting recycled, but i cant hit the button a further time... anyone got the same prob or knows the issue and can give an advise? ty for making the mod anyway!

@Shanej - I can confirm the code you just gave is working. I just spawned 2 of them just copying and pasting the exact code you gave. Make sure you have your cheats enable on the server as well with enablecheats putpasswordhere.

Edit: When I meant taking out the parentesis. I meant another person's mod's spawn cheat. I haven't tried to spawn this yet.

@Shanej - Are you copying and pasting? I know the console was taking out the Parenthesis in the cheat command and you had to put it back in. Also try just cheat and not admincheat. I'll check it out later.

Love the mod Mezzo. I came over from the recycler but after a bit, I couldn't handle the one inventory space anymore. This works perfect for my server's needs ^^.

@Ninjapigg The luckiest of swine - I just got this mod but it appears ramshackle is working atleast. I put in a primitive bow and then a ramshackle and got much more back from the ramshackle.

sweet thank you i added it to game i play at 0.88 xp lev and also make the tree/rock spawn at ResourcesRespawnPeriodMultiplier=7.000000 so it takes a long time

You can alway override the engram level,points etc. through settings in the game.ini:
OverrideNamedEngramEntries=(EngramClassName="EngramEntry_Deconstructor_C",EngramHidden=false,EngramPointsCost=6,EngramLevelRequirement=30,RemoveEngramPreReq=false)

sweet thx i love this mod i do think you should be able to get it about 30-35 not 50 thats a tad high you need it more when your lower lev if you dont want to do that can you add a config in the lets us change the lev req for the engram like in the ini file

@Iandpact: Yes im aware of that, i fixed this already a while ago but did not yet update since i wanted to get rid of some other "exploits" too. I was hoping that i soon get access to some variables i miss to make it work back then.

Now since a lot of people are already using this, i will look to update at least to my latest local version soon. Since you mentioned those specific blueprints, i think it would be a good idea, to leave them in as an exception.

Just curious, are you aware that it deconstructs blueprints, giving the materials associated with the item that the blueprint makes? Not that I am complaining, it's nice to have something to do with all of those extra water jar, medium crop plot and compass blueprints.

Been wanting something like this. So annoying to have place items just to salvage it. Also, love that it can be used on armor and weapons. I was very pleasantly surprised I could use it on items from other mods.

I do have one reservation about it. The skin choice just feels out of place to me. I imagine there are others who love it of course and I certainly wouldn't ask that you change just on account of me. Oddly enough I wouldn't mind if this one used the regular smithy skin, perhaps with some color changes or something similar.

The mod is clean and should in general work with items from other mods as long as they are a child of the item base class(which they usually should be if done correct).
The problem why this is not "fully" released and still WIP is that i currently can not get the items initial durability, so i can't really prevent people salvaging low durability items. Im not sure if i uploaded the version that takes item quality into account already but im probably not going to update this mod until the variable gets exposed in the devkit and i can get this working as i intended with the resources you get back depending on the item durability left.
Until then feel free to use this, there should not be any problems with it(although i really didn't test in it a long time).

more information would be appriciated, i am trying the mod anyways.
might consider adding stuff from other mods and integrating with other mods...

this would be easiest for everyone if you did mod checks using callbacks to the game mod directory or the game directly to see which mods are installed, and integrate with those once game world is loaded/reloaded.

this can be done natively with UE4 plus, but i am not sure what limitations are with the ark toolset.

Be an awesome mod if it worked for me.
Running stable private server.
Can buy the engram
Can build the item
Cannot place it
Collision check works ok (goes pink when trying to shove it thru a wall etc)
Ground/Floor check work warns when trying to place directly on ground
Tried placing on ceiling piece used as flooring
Tried placing directly onto foundation
First click lock green sillouette in place for walkaround check
Second click gives no go thump effect item doesnt place
Tried placing directly from inventory with "Use Item" button
Tried placing off hotkey slot.
I do have a list of other mods loaded but all are fully stackable clean mods that have never conflicted with each other (will give list if you request)
Otherwise any ideas?

Hello, I'm interested in adding this mod to my server but I can't tell from these comments whether the mod affect any core game files.

Is this mod still a work in progress, and is there any reason to think this mod will cause any problems in the future?

Wouldn't matter much if I just had to remove this mod in the future, but if it affected the gamestate in any other way I might be concerned.

Do you mind letting me see the blueprint? Can I get an uncooked version of your mod? I'm trying to learn how to use the Dev Kit, but as it is so new there is not much out there to cover it at the moment.

There is no blueprint for deconstruction you have to build that function on your own as in: get all items in the inventory -> check their base crafting requirements -> remove the item -> spawn items from crafting requirements. That is the simplified function. Of course there is more to it if you want to consider item quality etc.

@Mezzo - I don't suppose you'd tell me how you got this mod woking? I've been trying to find the blueprint to deconstruct with, but with no luck! I'm trying to fix the lack of stacking on deconstruct in the inventory when you have a stacking mod installed like my own. Any help would be appreciated!
