Step 1 find where your downloaded mods are stored.
Step 2 cilck on this mod then left click properties
Step 3 open mod.info (open it with notepad)
Step 4 change the MinGameVersion to this "3.115" and the MaxGamVersion to this MaxGameVersion "3.262.1"
Step 5 click save
Step 6 close it
Step 7 start your game up and see if it worked

So you have disabled all other mods and your still having an issue with mine?
Because I just tried it myself. If there is an issue I will fix it. But it works fine for me.
I would suggest that your game crashes when it attempts an autosave.

As it turns out I'm not having this issue, the fact that it happens on all the mission mods that are not mine, indicates that it is not my mod at all. I hope you are able to resolve your issue.

i have tried a bunch of other mission mods and they all have the same issue. after the first line of defence is capped the game crashes. so its an issue from you.

i only have other mission packs wich i have deactivated and then the blood and gore mod. thats it.

in the USA v GER bonus mission the game crashes after you capture the windmill. tried it 3 times with the same result.

Hey! Love the mod, one of the best out there. I have no idea how much work this would take, but a GSM or RobZ realism compatible version of this would make me the happiest boy in all the land. As I said, i have no idea how much work that would take, but as far as I can tell, the only real problems are around the ammunition, with GSM and RobZ using different ammunitions and the vehicles etc spawning in with vanilla ammunition that doesn't work. If you could manage to do this i would build a small wooden effigy of you and put it on my mantelpiece.

Hi [STG] Matt csgostakes.com , I can't seem to view your link. But I'm guessing you have another mod active. Load your game in safe mod, deactivate any other mods and ensure you only have "the war machine" active.
The war machine only uses vanilla assest, almost all vehicles for all 5 default factions. So if you have a mod active that edits exisiting units/vehicles and they have game breaking errors, then they will crash when my mission attempts to load those entities.

I am not sure I get what you are saying, say I open up the 1.pak in np++, I will get an encrypted/obfuscated text, I have seen some of the map/single/TWM Bonus/Field-day_use/0.mi.backup, though the rest of it is like this:  ŒÑöìwÐÐþòyz.ÑÐþòyz.ÑPK   -u/GF§Ïÿwö 2^ & $ 0½map/single/TWM Bonus/Field-day_use/map

Hi Waitand$ee, look in the 1.pat file. I've packed everything to save file size. Inside the folder the structure is map/single/the war machine.

This pat file structure is in line with the mod template found in mods. But I agree, nobody ever packs a mod this way, as it doesn't allow for easy editing. But is designed for release stage and minimal file size.

To make it easy to edit, create a resource folder with in the mod (as you described) and extract the folder structure map/single/the war machine to it.

I have a mod for editing and a version for release on all my mods. It also serves a great way to keep a backup... just in case.

Another thing I was searching for, was the 0.mi, as I aimed to make some changes to the missions files, though not finding it was quite a surprise, since I normally edit missions in plain text.

Where are these maps within your mod? They normally come under a map.pak within a resources folder, but your mod lacks both of these.

...Converting a map requires you to edit various elements of the mission in the editor. No scripting needs to be edited. Only positions of units, waypoints, clips and cameras. Easy once understood.

When I find time I will review these, edit if necessary, upload to you tube and share the llinks both here and as a topic discussion in the main forums.

Hi SargentKive33,

You got some options, the "Terminator" has been working hard converting AS2 vanilla maps to The War Machine. The link to his mod is above in the desrciption.

You also have "The War Machine make a map" mod. Link is also above. This mod allows you to create your own map with the mission already in place ready to go. The mod page includes some videos to help you get started.

I also have a series of videos that I have not yet released. I made them for Terminator so that he could learn how to convert as2 maps. The vids include english and french sub titles, as I don't speak french and Terminator does not speak english.
