I'm trying to find a mod to livel up my single player survival. This seems like a good candidate.
However: Is there anywhere where I can read up on this? I can see there are a lot of mods or submods in this pack. However this makes it all slightly bewildering. How does it work? How is it different or better them for instance modular encounters? A starting guide or wiki or something would be appreciated.

@Albatross No, If you have installed EEM itself, there is nothing else needed. This is just the full blueprint list that is used with EEM. Just soif you like a ship in the mod you dont have to track on down in a creative world just to get a blueprint snapshot of it like I've done on numerous occasions.

OK. But what about stations? The Pirate-controlled stations are in the "Pirate" folder, the Military Sations are in the "Military" folder, ect... I'm pretty sure that some of the Stations don't have the word "Station" in their name, and the only way to tell which are stations and which aren't (That I can see) would be to convert all the likely candidates, and check them ingame - Something I wouldn't wish to undertake if there was a way around it.

Put simply, what I'm looking for is a list of the names of all the stations - if there isn't one, then I guess I'll just begin the process...

Well, it actually pretty much sorted - "debris" folder, spawngroups categories (take a look there for a list), pirates are in "pirates" and "atmospheric pirates" folder, cargoships are in "cargoships" folder BUT also faction-specific cargoships are in their faction folder, so in "cargoships" folder there are only "factionless" ships

That wasn't my question. I've already unpacked the files, and have seen there is a LOT of stuff - too much to go through on my own. I was just wondering if there was a pre-compiled list of which ones are Stations/Wrecks and which are ships (Pirate/Cargo). If there isn't, I was just gonna start going through it, and see how far I'm willing to go.

Unpack mod files and check out prefabs folder, it has too many unique not published contents, especially wrecks - most of them was done by me for mod. You can easily convert prefab file to openable blueprint file by editing .sbc with "replace all" - "Prefab" with "ShipBlueprint" (make sure capital letters are same), then rename file in bp.sbc and put it into it's own folder in local blueprints, so you can access it in game

Is there a list anywhere of JUST the stations and shipwrecks? I'm kinda doing a personal edit for the EEM mod, so I can have as many exploration encounters as possible without any of the pirate, cargo and similar ships flying past my base.

I was a bit Sad that Hacking computer mod could not help me with that Targ tug module I found drifting off the main ship after it crashed into an asteroid.

Uhh. I actually ended up building a small grinder ship and chopping it up last night lol.

This was definitely one of the cargo ships with the mod. I saw a "flee" in the K menu while trying to take over and it belonged to one of the civilian factions.

It was just without any power when I got on board. None of the Reactors had any fuel, but the ship did have a few solar panels. I think I have a save before I tried grabbing a hold of it. I'll see if I can find it and get the name this evening.

Yeah, for now only that stupid and extremely tedious "hacking" mechanic, this is actually a reason why I wanted to integrate and balance Kage's hacking computer mod, so you'll have a proper way to claim large wrecks. But it's not done yet, so keep doing it old way... btw, what's the name of the ship you found? There're only wrecks that usually are powered down and with wrecks its just easier to salvage it and leave, rather than claim those remains

Ok..This is going to be a real dumb question.

I've been away from SE for a while, but Capt. Shack's "Mod all the things" Exploration streams have gotten me back into playing.

I'm using the exploration mod and managed to find a powered down cargo ship coasting through the area. I got a hold of it and stopped its drift.

Now. How the heck do I take ownership of it? Do I have to go through and "hack" everything hackable on the ship or is there something in the exploration mod that I'm not seeing.

I seen a ship called "SP LEV 133", Looked like an obscenely armed cargo transport with 3 exposed cargo pods on each side. I got close to it and I liked the design, but I forgot to get a screen shot of it. It gave me a few ideas on a ship and wanted to get a better look at it. Wondering if anyone else got a look at it or got a blueprint of it.

I've got a rescue ship if you want it. I'd like credit of course, but it was designed after the yellow spawn ship. Not sure if it'd work in survival, think I had ion engines on it. Don't remember. Also, I may have forgotten stuff like uranium in the reactors... I like creative :3 Doesn't have to be a rescue ship, could be a small transport or something. Anyway, just in case you want to use it. :P Not that you're in lack of ships, I see...

Hey Guys, I'm looking for blueprints for a specific ship. I'll be a bit vague on it because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who gets this mod in the future. It's a derelict/destroyed large ship drifting w/ Black/Blue/Silver heavy armor. About 9M kg. It's very badly damaged. I was thinking it'd be a fun project in survival to restore the ship but need blueprints for it. Thanks!

Why do you post this in collection comments, not on mod's page? Does it mean you just subscribed to collection and didn't add the mod in the world? (collection is just the more comfy way to make credits for used ships)
If you have new respawnships, that mean mod is working, just keep searching
