I went through all my mods and checked them for problems since the recent updates, but somehow I missed this one.
I made this mod more because a lot of people say "I want to play the plants!" .... well you can, but they really do suck. :)
Normal plants can't be played because they are environmental, procedurally generated, and are missing even basic faction functionality. ... I think even if you made a mod for faction 5, it would just be a buggy mess.
The default command module for this faction is a seed. What this mod does is replace the seed module with a normal ship command module. This fixes a lot of the problems you would normally have playing the Spikey Plant faction (ships not rebuilding, unable to trade-in R, no factory or fleet functions, etc.).
If you try to use your save without the mod loaded, you'll crash the game and possibly corrupt your save because there will be block mis-matches.
If you have 93 it's conflicting with some other mod you have loaded. No idea what that might be and not much I can do about it.
