The lights still seem to work just fine, pin codes and all, even on rafts.
One big problem though, the light stops rendering if the character or camera is too far from its source.
I put these on top of a big tower on a boat, but when I go to drive the boat, the lighting doesn't appear.

Mod taucht nicht auf.

A great mod. Sad it is not being updated anymore. Hoping some other developers pick up this great and useful idea for their mods. Hope this mod still functions with the latest patch of ARK, testing today... :-)

Probally wont be updating due to lost source files. And lack of interest in game. I'm also currently studying something similiar full time so this is the last thing I want to come home to working on.

The electric lights were always far too bright. The fuel using ones seemed almost just right for lighting. Have not tried them yet since the break and fix.

Good news, that hotfix fixed the issue with this mod. They're all working again now. Not sure, but the lights seem brighter now. ...too bright almost. Anyone else seeing this? (Dx11, Medium post-processing)

An ARK update was release recently: " Unversioned Hotfix: Fixed Shader Crash that was occuring with some mods. " Hope this fixs the issue with fatal errors. About to test it out.

Same here, tested on our private server, fatal error with ARK 240.4 once any of the lights are activated or you enter an area with them activated. Just going to remove the mod until it's updated, then add it back.

As many have commented, the spotlights produce a fatal error when rendered in since ARK 240.4. I hope this gets resolved as this is a great mod, with significant potential to be even better. For example: changing colors and light intensity (similar to the Better Lights mod), aiming (similar to the vanilla cannon), and removal of the wires (similar to Better Lights mod). Thank you, Helbirden, for your work on this mod.

Can Confirm as Rogue stated, how dare you beat me to it btw jk, I put two and two together when I saw rendering, lightsource, so forth in the crash log along with official patch stating target rendering/rendering in general was being messed with. 240.4 has broken this mod for any that have gotten fatal errors (Tested it on Singleplayer and got same crash report as soon as I powered it) Hope to see it fixed! Hey with the new update of 240.4 your spotlights are causign a fatal error.. we tested it seveal times.. when you come in to range you crash out with a fatel error.. heres the error

Is there any way to make the ridable flood light so that it may be turned on/off (prefer with a pin code as well to also control it with a Remote Keypad like the other lights)?

Does anyone know if you have to have a power source present to place a spotlight? (They must be placed on a foundation and I tested it last night, I could not place it on a platform, a raft or a foundation floor even when the preview-placement was green.) (I tried both the -22 electric and the rideable spotlight to test this since it does not require a power source. Fun thing to note however, if you keep the spotlight in preview-placement mode, it still shines light! so you essentially have a huge flashlight no one else can see, which also works underwater. I call that a pretty cool bonus! When flashed upon many things though, it did appear blindingly bright- however I have my gamma set to #3 so that may have a lot to do with the brightness atm.

I second the awesomeness of this mod, but I also second the overwhelming brightness of the spots. I'll definitly enjoy using them on plaforms but in our base, it would just be for emergencies to scare attackers i think.
