Good map, but I think that it would be more fun if there were more rooms and more WAU monsters. I also find Jin Yoshida as the most terrifying monster in SOMA. Made it even more terrifying when there's two.

@mord If I made a FPS asd a stand alone product for free on early access, I bet a load of people will judge me with this style of constructive critism.

I want people to judge my work with this constructive critism, and this guy seems to have a thick skin, unlike you.

I'm sorry for not helping develop his mod better by telling him what to work on. Let's just say that everything is 11/10 flawless!

Sorry for the rant but I wanted to say that the 0/10 rating is a bit childish don't you think? :) Who knows, I'll update the review if it get's better but until I see an update I stand by what I said.

And Aquamarine, I don't mean any agressiveness towards you, go and make your dreams come true!

Thank you, but I don't think Antaria was trying to be mean, I think that it was like said, just advice. but i guess i don't need to comment here anymore.

@Antaria - review 0/10.
Rude and not constructive. I hope you dont put off people who invest their time to learn how to use editor. These guys are not professionals. They are fans of the game and they try to create a new content for all of us to enjoy. They do it for free in their spare time and they deserve better then your snarky "review". Sometimes one little thing takes ages to figure out. i know it from my own experience.
@Aquamarine - take your time, add things and polish your map at pace that suits you the best. Dont let anyone rush you - youre not their employee.
We will be waiting giving you thumbs up and good feedback to help you in development :).

No i understand antaria, i do take it as advice. I totally agree with what you were saying, I was just saying that i'll probably do those things in the future. If i have contradicted myself, please say so.

Rookie Mistake that I have made before: Take the critism and don't make excuses about it. It is feedback on your project, take it as advice instead of a correction.

Well see I didn't intend on this being good. This map is supposed to represent what it later could be. Once I am finished totally working on this it will have more to it. I plan on having on of the doors open up from the omnitool to a new area, with new monsters. And do the same to that area. And end the campaign at some point. I don't really see how the music is a problem, because there is no music. Except for the monsters, there sounds and music isn't a problem either. Is it?

Review:

From what I can see you made a full campaign mod without any modifications bar the one map, which in a way is kind of disappointing. God damn at least go onto http://incompetech.com/ , convert a .wav into an .ogg and replace the music!

Your detailing is extensive in certain rooms but not in the hallways or in the starting area which kinda bugs me. To me it seems like a half-baked map and I would like to see what you can do when you spend time on all the areas of your map(s).

tl;dr: Work on detailing on all parts of your maps, add more to the mod besides custom maps

4/10

I want to know how to make maps, anyway the map is very cool. Good work.
Hypercube  [author] 15 Oct, 2015 @ 1:12pm
Thanks dude. But I need to add more items to two rooms, the start room and the room with the wau flowers in it. And then I need to learn the coding to this game.

Wow! There are a lot more details than I thought there would be! :O

Personally, I'm still a beginner, and so the first map I uploaded is quite shitty, but I am working on another one which coincidently has a similar theme to yours! I guess we will compare when I will upload it!

Again, congrats! :)

Sorry though, I know the doors don't have buttons, just stick with it. That's why I may make an improved version later, so you know. Let me know what you think though, when played. (I do not expect good reviews)
