Damn... I saw the wheat in the Arleon picture and was about to return to ME eagerly and happily, only to have my hopes for an actual growth mechanic resoundingly dashed. =)

Ah well. It'll come eventually!

Actually this mod is purely visual (Well if I manage to make it work again) because there is still no developed way to grow wheat. There is another mod of mine like this one that gives wheat when "mined" but still purely visual and not really usable in survival

Hi, it looks to me that the last planet update make the mod buggy. Canno longer see the plants and crop but just the soil

Hi @Yurand2000 and @Nowik, i just had the same problem and that was due to a setup in the graphical options. Twicking the foliage details the wheat was restaured to normal size :p

@sttu you can place this as a voxel material in creative mode, in survival you can only "see" it and maybe mine it for stones.

@STORI3D Well as far as I know (Already tested but not fully sure) the voxels should reset to normal grass. Let me check that :D

EDIT: Yeah it converts directly to "default" grass material

This is so cool! What happens if I have to delete the mod? Does the ground go back to one of the regular ME voxels? Or could it break the world? I want to make wheat fields in my big "The Glade" Survival world, but I'd hate to have the thing crash if Keen changes some code that breaks the mod.

This would be a good base for a new feature.
Wheat seeds, a hoe, an oven and an grinding stone for an windmill or mortar and pestle to make flour and we can bake some delicious bread.

Maybe u have to place it using the voxel tool? There isn't any map with that voxel so u have to place it by yourself.

@Arnox I have an old gtx 650 and putting graphics to texture quality high and foliage datail to high and grass density to 10, i can play really fine, so i guess there won't be no problems. @Jugbot u need proper dx11 textures so u need to export in proper format, search on google for more.
