hey whould you mind basicly taking the bag that scout wears, adding a zipper and an inside, and making it stretchable?

im making an animation where i want scout to hostler his primary and the bag whould be the logical place to put the shotgun that i put in scouts hands.

Alright. Thanks for all the help so far. I guess for now I'll just render what I was working on without the lens in the shot, and maybe try to simulate the magnifying effect with a bit of photoshop editing.

yeah add the quotations so that it looks like "models/detonatress/magnifying/specular" and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, check if the workshop has given you the specular.vtf that comes with it.

And if you do manage to find/open the file (unless it got corrupted along the download) add quotation marks before and after the string corresponding to the $basetexture. Normally SFM doesn't seem to need those, but in some cases (which I have no idea what is different with their SFMs) it might really need the quotations. Also, make sure that a specular.vtf exists. If neither of these exist, unsubscribe and resubscribe and see if it fixes.

EmperorFaiz tested it but for him it's only black in the preview, not in the map. Can you search for specular.vmt inside the workshop\materials\detonatress\magnifying folder and paste the code you find in it here please?

Hold on, I'll ask someone to check it out and see if this problem happens everywhere or it's an isolated case. For me it doesn't seem to have any problems.

Its appears that way in the model viewer and when in a map

@Lord_of_Light does it appear that way in the model viewer? Because I've seen that but if you open it, it should refract instead while it's in a map.

For some reason the lens appears as a black disk, any ideas on what I could try to fix that?
