It still works and is still needed. Sub Buildings won't work for these. It uses a different method.

Ah ok great thanks, i'll re-sub to the the Larger Footprints and give it a try.

You need Larger Footprints for these assets. Sub Buildings is used in a completely different way, so it won't work for these assets. Larger Footprints still works, even though it isn't supported.

Hi, i subscribed to this set so i can place a golf course in my city, however it seems most of the assets are coming up with errors (assets too big etc), could you confirm if i need to use the larger footprints mod or the new sub buildings enabler for this? The notes for the larger footprints mod is saying it is no longer supported.

Sure you can add them. And thanks

I modified all 18 holes in asset editor, i made them so they are available to map editor/asset editor and game. I also added trees using this as a guide :http://www.pebblebeach.com/golf/pebble-beach-golf-links/hole-by-hole-course-tour
and i also added flag poles that i found in the tree section of workshop.
I also changed the pics/thumbnails ect.
would you mind if i added them to a collection i have (ofc i will give credit).
And i hope you are recovering well.

In the asset editor, after you make an asset, there is an option to enable the item to be used in game or map editor or both. so anything can be placed in map mode if this is enabled. I do it for my parks i make. I will see if i can load your course holes in the editor and enable map editor use.

I've never used the map editor before so I don't know. My guess is that you can only place roads and stuff like that.
