only issue I know of is it breaks the .mod file so it doesn't read dependcis and other stuff correctly, so doesn't load with overhaul mods like agot.

I get into the loading screen and before its halfway loaded it crashes to desktop. Is there an issue with downloading the mod through steam workshop?

@SinStar87 thanks for the info, I've been wondering if I should install it or not. It's really not easy to find anything updated/compatible with the latest AGOT 2.2. The mods are old, the dependencies are somewhere else, the info is limited, the Steam search is a nightmare, CK2 itself is so much inferior when it comes to modding and a host of other annoying little problems, lmao.

unless my mod has a version number in it, it's self contained not drawing any files from vanilla and so should be compatible with any version.

they're tied to agot's warg system iirc. warg's will bond with an animal and get one.

Got it to work, had to take both of them out of the extracted file and put them into the mod file, you can't just put the extracted file in the mod file and take out the .mod file.

did you unsub from the workshop when you used the manual link? otherwise steam will overwrite the .mod again.

then the workshop probably broke the .mod file and needs fixed with a text editor. Or use the manual link instead.

living characters within your realm that don't have the trait or pup trait already and are either, old gods, wildling, a friend, lover, or dynasty member.

haha okay i added the "" and it works now i can add the traits via console command so the event should fire now as well. Thanks a ton for walking me through it. Sorry for the trouble.

yeah, it doesn't have the "" around A Game of Thrones, might be an issue, everything else looks ok for a workshop sub. If that's not it, could just be a general issue with workshop, so try the manual link.

No, maybe steam broke the .mod,
go to paradox/ck2/mods
find wolflings.mod
open it with notepad.
make sure it says this.

apparently they dont exist. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod. I don't know if it will do anything but should I try uninstalling the game?

I tested it in the last update, worked as intended. The event won't fire often so it's possible it will never fire. Do you have the -ling traits in game, can you add them with console and fire the events manually or do they not exist? The latter would probably mean you have an issue with the .mod file

Hehe, no problem, it's still 50% per year, I had brackets in the on actions which aren't used there so I believe that was preventing the event from firing.
