i think almost anyone would still prefer a non-confusing compass option. the (now gone) compass mod that existed before this one didn't behave like the in-game compass item (i hate that thing). it behaved like the picture linked below.

i would very much prefer an option where the pointer always face upward (or doesn't exist), and the compass rotate instead of the pointer. hope that makes perfect sense.

The compass in this mod should behave exactly like the stock compass which is shown if you equip the compass item. I just took the compass control and moved it to another position. Because of this, the pointer acting crazy on full moon should be intended.
I will look into the other issue as soon as I can.

the pointer is confusing. it is indeed backwards.

i'd rather avoid all confusion by just having no pointer at all. and just rotate the compass to show the direction i am facing (whatever is at the top is the direction)

I mean they're the right way on the compass but when you rotate the arrow points in the wrong direction.

Hell yes! I love mods that work on servers! That's the great thing about Don't Starve Together, clientside mods work in UNMODDED servers for once in a game!
