I haven't tested the warp cores, only went by word from others. the ramps & turrets I witnessed first hand.
JDaremo: They should still mostly work. They do need some updates, like the Star Trek Weapons mod, which is getting a full rewrite whenever I can pull myself away from my personal projects, but for the most part, the Warp Cores should work.
I love the look of ones like the trek warp core, etc.
Remember, the more I know, the more I can fix.
all in all, not good. If it did modify stuff, then your screwed, as I can't provide tech support. Sorry.
WinMerge is an Open Source differencing and merging tool for Windows. WinMerge can compare both folders and files, presenting differences in a visual text format that is easy to understand and handle.
Basically you open WinMerge and then using WM you open two files and WM compares them. I used it to compare the Characters.sbc files in the mod and the original one and also copied the changes between them.
Well, I'll look into it sometime later. For now, I'd say to try to keep it under 4000kg, so when I do change it, it doesn't destroy anything. ('cuz it will)
Ok, I think I've fixed it. I hadn't updated the code to have the current bit. Let me know if it's still giving you problems.
Now, I tried to add the images that identify the separate bottles, but the game is refusing to use them. As such, I won't be able to do that. Sorry that I can't, but it's what the game wants in this case.
funny nobody though of pocket batteries to refill the suit ... yet
Thinking about it, that would look hilarious if he tore open his pack.
The Oxygen usage has been lowered so you last longer and don't need as much. This is because Keen set it up so high, its just unrealistic.
Now, for hydrogen, the answer is no, you will consume it whenever you move. Now, I can make it so it take several YEARS, but it CAN'T be removed.
Just a note, I will NOT be making it so your fuel supplies last a few years, so don't ask.
@Erstaunlich I'd say the jetpack quite clearly uses hydrogen thrusters because it consumes hydrogen. The only reason the jets are blue is because all jets have always been blue, and they just haven't changed it to orange/yellow yet. I would guess that's something that could be modded? I'll have to look into that as well.
I'll be making a picture for Hydrogen bottles soon, so you can tell the differences. Also, I will probably make a mod that will reduce the amount of Hydrogen your rockets use, but I'm busy on another mod that I'm working on. Hint: 2H
Oxygen, on the other hand, is a little easier to do, as there are actuall numbers that make sense.
I modified it so, while you store less oxygen, (only 10 units) your oxygen tanks take much longer to empty, or you could say that I made them larger, or something. Figure you have almost 3 hours of air in your suit, three times that if you take an O2 bottle. This can be reduced, but that's up to all of you.
