oh ok I was expecting the duke symbol that you hit at the end of the level lol and if the secret room is the one behind a shit ton of cracked walls then I found it lol

i think u beat it lol . a nice replay value for the level is playing it on "Welcome to HELL" difficulty. which adds thousands of enemies n a shit load of rockets. u gotta find a secret room and once u enter that secret room. . it will activate it. cheers!

I really liked this map espically the way it looks plus I have always liked hell typed levels in games. I was very impressed with the demonic face wall and I think that looks really good and I found walking on the chains to be very creative. The only thing is I'm stuck in the room with the giant pentagram and the boss you fight at the end of the first episode (can't remember his name right now) I've already killed 3 of them and found 2 buttons in that room but I'm unsure of what to do next. Other that that fantastic map and I look forward to any other maps you plan to create for duke 3d

I'm in the room with the pentagram and there's a crack on a wall that takes me back to the hub-like area. I have no idea what to do now.

Teaching you in the first few rooms that bombs are important is good, but you're not given proper health to do the early puzzles, resulting in many restarts/reloads. The scenery and set pieces were pretty cool to see and interesting to battle in. I'd prefer more balance and cohesion, and possibly some fail safes, but the idea seems to be that if you conquer those tough puzzles you are rewarded with the action and adventure. So it's certainly one way to make an incentive. Then again, I suck at the game so the brutal start frustrates the crap outta me and I'd rather it just be a blend... or have adjustments for each difficulty level rather than making them all the same. But hey, maybe that's just me. It's still pretty good and the heavy metal nods are a nice touch.

This map plays like two different maps stitched together. The first half is low on supplies and puzzle oriented. But the unavoidable fire/steam in narrow corridors unfairly drains your health, which is scarce at this point. So figure those puzzles out fast or you're literally toast, which takes away from taking your time to think and solve the puzzles. The second half is exploring a big, cool environment while fighting off challenge waves every so often, which I found rather enjoyable. I just wish that these two ideas had been interlaced rather than split up into two spearate sections.

@spike once you hit the 4 buttons you need to go where the last battlelord comes I think that's the spot go where he is and its a touchplate ending like in E1L2

Been a while since I've played a map this good. Nice job man. Loved the chain bridges.

I finally found the 3rd switch. Damn this map is amazing. The first few areas with small hallways was pretty. That demon head in the start was really good looking and it's something special.
The huge lava pit is so good! And then you just had to top it with the second mountain head o.O I'm not kidding that stuff inspired me xD

Technically, this map is rather short but it requires some clever thinking to progress. The setting is brilliant, the atmosphere and overall feel is very well done. Ammo might not be that common but at least it isn't bad enough like in some maps that you need to conserve like crazy, you'll still have some rockets by the end of the map which you will need. It may take quite a few tries before you beat it but it gives a genuinely rewarding sense of satisfaction once you do.

My only issue is all the narrow spots with fire in the walls. You can't dawdle about too much otherwise you'll end up dying easily... a lot. This happened to me and health is a bit scarce when you need it.

Other than that, it's a fantastic map and a great little puzzle to solve. I highly recommend this if you like puzzle orientated maps or exploring a lot and co-op would seem really fun here.

Overall, the map was very well done! The detail was great, the ambience was great, the gameplay was.... eh, and it was just a fun ride. Very nice work man, I hope to see more from you and let's not go for the whole "How many enemies can I fit on screen until the framerate drops" thing anymore. And by the way, adding some more ammo would have DEFINITELY been a plus.

The detail was incredible! It felt like Duke was walking through the depths of hell! (Which is hard to pull off in this engine). It started off plain and simple but it's definitely gonna make you think from the get-go. As I went through the narrow corridors, the detail drew me in, but man is this map fucking dark! To be completely honest, I had to cheat my way through the map because once I got to the skull mountain looking thing, I was lost. I went through another branching corridor and got lost again. This map makes you think, HARDCORE. But I unfortunately ended up cheating my way through and it goes from "regular map" to "throw every enemy at you that I can" map. So, goes from Hollywood Holocaust to Duke's Nightmare real quick. The detail was very nice, but some hints letting me know where to go would have also helped. I'm not talking CoD markers on the screen, just subtle hints would have been good.
