This NPC turret is located under NPC - Combine:goldgear:

It's a replacement to the regular combine turret

but i want a seprate entitie not a reskin still a impressive addon now they dont flip over or fall like dominos if you line them up anymore

If you would like them not to shoot you or you wish they had more fire power, you could look for specific tools to change their behavior / fire power. Just search the workshop!

Can you edit the mod and somehow make a whole new NPC out of it and make it shoot like a minigun instead of just a model change and sound change. I know i may be asking quite a lot but i'd love to see a working minigun turret.

Then make sure you don't have any other addons that change the floor turret or its sounds

You can use npc relationship tool to change their behaviour.
