haven't played QL in months.. now i started it again and cannot play monsoon.. anything wrong? :(

the geometry isnt actually my work, but since i couldnt get hold of any of the original authors and i wanted to play this in ql is just recompiled and uploaded it anyway. my final plan is to make it play as similar to the q4 version as possible but the process is slow im busy with other things atm

ty, now it worked. didn't know it was map monsoon_converted duel and not map monsoon duel :)

though i dont understand why it still shows up in the map list, if the map actual name is actually monsoon_converted? it should work just as that if it shows in the list but it doesn't.

pretty nice job done with the map. i see it's not 1:1 similar. are your plans to have it be 1:1 copy eventually? mostly i mean stuff like the extra set of stairs at ya. but overall very good work :)

i dunno how this is supposed to work but for me it still doesn't work :(

i try launch it either via the game launcher or via console and get same error. "cant find map maps/monsoon.bsp"

textures are still messy tho

fixed the .arena file so you can directly start it in duel mode and increased ambiet lighting

pls re-up this! is pretty much my fav map and it doesn't now work at all. you can select it in ffa mode but the launch button doesnt work then and in duel the whole map isn't even listed. re-up asap.

Word of advice. do not halfass this map. This could be a big part of the DL Duel setting
look at the Monsoon version for reflex

ookaay so due to stupidity i lost a lot of work, not gonna do a full reskin for now, just the geometry changes i wanted to do + some texture fixes

i decompiled the q3 version and rebuilt it with the latest gtk

Have you figured out how to get round the failure of latest QL to run version 46 bsp ? If you change byte 04 to 2F you get failure because of no advertisement lump. Did you decompile and recreate using latest GTKRadiant with QL ability ?

im patching and reskinning as we speak, should be up tonight or tomorrow :)

i host 3 ql servers i would like to know when this map is completed and working 100 percent... i will indicate that a few brushes need to be fixed ei. railgun to gren launcher
