The original mod is for ME1, you can find it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=288538715
Sure go ahead! :)
Ghostface:
Have been very busy recently, will get to it when time allows.
I plan on figuring out a way to use an Awesomium panel that loads the file localy once I find the time to do so. Though I'm still curious why there would be a virus warning on a clean, ad-free website, loaded through a normal method in Awesomium. Unfortunately I got no response from that commenter.
Anyways, great mod! I miss Mass Effect.
The only thing I could think of that would make any antivirus question the safety of the addon is the site on which the audio file is hosted (read my previous comment as to why). However, the site is verified clean (https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/9c9549e9a738ed6daf99d70e82e8d55c2059245a13fe52582bcdc76d3520fd0d/analysis/) and does not serve any adversitesements. What antivirus do you happen to be using?
The terrible but effective hack that I'm sure I'll find a better solution of given the time set the Source Engine volume to zero and then secretly opens a website with the audio in a hidden panel. Panels are run by the Awesomium service and therefore is in effected by changes to the Source Engine volume. I came up with this solution in my own and despite it seemingly being the only was (since no-one else on the forums can think of a better one) I think I can get it to work offline sooner or later.
