I'm missing an update ^^ again, and hope that the missing textures will be back. I would like to play longer on the map and ^^ discover more.

@Svenosaurus85 (GER) I think in the next few days. I ran into a issue cooking the map so I'll have to work that out. It takes 8-9 hours to cook so finding the cause can be a pain.

Good- It's a large map with some cool areas that are unique to this map. It was recently updated according to this mod description.
Not so good- it still lacks some defined textures. I was teleported when I went in a cave like area. The ocean is difficult to make out depth due to the water being clear. Dino spawning seems off, too few types of dino's? Needs more trees.
Looks like this is a work in progress but the map has a great deal of potential once completed or closer to completion. I look forward to viewing it again later but for now will take it out of my custom ark map list. Honestly, this should be given a chance now for some who won't mind the above and in the future once more changes are made. Great start by developer. I'm sure this is not the only project this person(s) has to work on and we will all have to be patient.

Red, glad to see you are working on the map again. What I played some time ago, was a beautiful map, then ruined, but I still have hope that you will revive this map to a beautiful state again. I even done a few YouTube videos using your map back in the day. I will check from time to time to see what progress you have made.

My GOAL is the end of next week. The update will be by no means a complete map, but will be a good base for me to continue work into the future. I can't predict what bugs I may need to iron out first before making it public though.

So red when can we begin to get our hopes up for an update? :)

I figured as much, I always have one or two in progress maps on my cluster for my friends and I to tool around on without much expectation or focus on progression.

I would hold off on running the map until the next update. The version currently online is quite old and may not be compatible any longer.

I want to temper expectations a bit here for the new release - This isn't a completed map. I've been making significant changes that will benefit gameplay in the long run, but certain sections present in older versions are being reworked and have been removed until I redo them. The playable areas in the next release are roughly 50% of the map, and even those areas will receive further work down the line.

Glad to hear it RedEntropy! My cluster is currently down for maintenance atm so i'm looking forward to adding this when the new version is ready :D

For some reason I never saw this comment, but yes! I'm actively working on it right now. I was hoping for a December release, but it's looking like it will be in January.

I really enjoyed the time I spent on this map in single player, I know you mentioned an in progress build that's stable. Any chance we might see this in the near future? I would love to bring this beauty into my cluster.

At the little cave waterfall there is a part of water that isnt part of the stream and it leads outside the map co-ords on gps is 29.9 lat 25.1 lon

Well i do believe you have skills that lead to a beautiful map, have you thought about starting a new map, something the size of the island. I was thinking if i had the skill I would build a smaller map with some of the areas that i love most from the DLCs and here is the kicker i wouldnt add all the DLC content like some maps try to do but a little from each... you dont need every dino from every dlc thats crazy but a few from each, some cool points from each. Like no map has the sulfur fields from extinction, but those are amazing, The ocean biome in Genesis is by far the best water area on any map, and deserves some love in a unofficial....and so on

Thanks Toxxiksilver, the issue wasn't really life getting in the way so much as me having to redo large portions of the map because wildcard changes something in the dev kit. I got sick of redoing it. The map was remade almost from scratch three times because of this. That said, I do have a work in progress version that seems pretty stable, I hope to get it releases eventually but really can't make a statement as to when yet.

I hate to say this but this map had so much potential. I see this all the time, so many maps when the mod contest or get sponsored and then basically end up like this with no updates, not complete and all. I get real life gets in the way but its such a shame when so many people start maps that have potential just to let them never be finished.... i think there are maybe about 5 truly completed unofficial maps left, and i wish this one had been completed it was one of my favorites, followed it from way back and then watched as it never got anymore updates. I am not in anyway bashing the Dev, like i said i understand life gets in the way and sometimes things fall to the side, just a shame is all.

Anyone still using this? I know persons said it was buggy and a bit barren though when it was at it's prime it was not particularly lush - nor was it meant to be like the island. I did note though that it actually got more green (which wasn't great in every biome). Is it like it was about two years ago?

this mod is just crap now.. awful, buggy, nothing works and is a shame, because it looks really good in the captures.
but as the own creator said, is no longer working on this mod.

What happened to this map it used to be so beautiful and lush and worth playing on even with the bugs. I was so surprised when I loaded in to it, cause now it looks all barren with hardly any greenery . I hope it is because of the WIP and it will go back to the gorgeous lush map it once was. keeping my fingers crossed. this was my favorite map to run my server on.

I haven't updated the map in over a year so . . . I'm not currently working on the map.

I played this map when it first came out, and it was decent then. Got on it recently, and it is in worse condition from a year ago. I am disappointed in the quality. Too many places are incomplete on the surface, and I read in comments, that the creator of the map is working on caves???? smh.

Holy crap! I'm surprised, my family lives in Boa Vista, capital of Roraima XD

I switched back to Roraima, my laptop was struggling (it's not a game machine) and I got the hang of what I was trying to do, earlier as well. I love this map so much :)
