No, not wanting a normal skin. A "color map" photo is more more what is needed. If this is a prisma, we want to know where the 4 channels map to on the skin. That is the purpose of a photo that puts crayola color bright red blue green yellow all over the skin, not because somene wants to color it like that, but because we want to know where the color channels are changing on the skin. I would vote on this if I could see that info. As it is, just looks black. I actually favor prisma skins because of the shininess, not because it can look black.

Listen, mate, you gotta actually make something that takes you more than a few hours.
And something that actually stands out.
Or something that isn't a lazy retexture.

Definetly not worth the vote, as theres still a lot to do, no alt helmet, and its basically recolored mag with a metalic thrown in, it looks like.

I don't care much for Mag now adays, even if I have gud memories of her killing every enemy in the beginning with ease as my starter, but I would love to see what peeps could do to fashion fraem this skin, it looks great man
Winged Crusade 7 Jul, 2017 @ 8:55am
I'm going to be straight honest with you.

DE is most likely not going to accept outright themed items off already existing in-game items, such as the Prisma line of cosmetics.

There's also not too much going on with this skin that makes it new from Mag, unfortunately. Sorry.
Capn Queer 14 Jan, 2017 @ 4:13pm
i can't even tell if any of the color mapping or texturing is different, i'm sorry but this just feels like something that could be accomplished with the smoke pallete and classic saturated.

Once you get a working PC up and rolling, could you upload a pic of where colors 1-4 will be located? It looks like:
1. Over the body
2.The waist cincher part
3. The arm bars
4??
If I'd add a 4, maybe a color that overlaps the seams?

Absolutely love the astetics and as alot of the existing stuff in the game is already limited somewhat in coloring, I can completely understand where you would get stuck with 1 with the prisma energy color effect going on over it. I really hope this makes it into the game.

Just understand me, everyone who looks at this skin and he does not like some details - writes that something needs to change, and I would be happy to do better.. but just tired of writing that - I do not have a working computer, burned video card :( I have a big archives my concept of skins, but can't draw in 3d...
VainGorgonCrybaby 19 Nov, 2015 @ 11:38am
That everyone has their own opinion and taste in asthetics is exactly why forcing them to only use black+color of their choice is a bad idea.

However, I'm only making suggestions. It's a nice concept, and I'm sure it will be picked up by someone around here and polished, but I merely was making suggestions, in case you planned on taking this higher. If you don't plan on that, feel free to just ignore my suggestions.

As I said, it looks great so far.

Actually, anyone can add the pulsating energy effects present on many Prisma weapons. The Prisma weapons do not have any unique texture layers, animated glow effects are embedded in all model files, and are explained in the Tennogen manual.
WickedDude  [author] 19 Nov, 2015 @ 3:39am
Everyone has their own opinion and the concept of aesthetics, someone will say - I like it, I want it! and someone will say - boo, WTF?!
WickedDude  [author] 19 Nov, 2015 @ 3:35am
so ,maybe you make better. I dont have a time and pc for it.
VainGorgonCrybaby 18 Nov, 2015 @ 5:11pm
Oh, the black is locked. Well, that's not a very good idea, now is it? With the understanding that you think it looks better, I want to say that locking any colors from being changed is not a good move to make. Sure, it looks nice, but having found several good color schemes for Prisma skins that have no black in them, it is definitely not necessary. Nor is color-locking appreciated. Just look at Ash Prime's grey spots. People lose their minds over it. They utterly hate it.

As for only using three tints, I will only repeat what the Devs have already said. Players appreciate it when a skin makes use of every channel, RGB and Transparency.

Also, the "Prisma effect" is just a fade from one colour channel to another, such as R to B, with the Emmissive layer faded onto that, with an animated 'cloudy' texture. Anyone can make it, and the Devs won't add or remove anything from a skin, if it is chosen. They can and will change the default colors, but that's it.
WickedDude  [author] 18 Nov, 2015 @ 11:08am
all who want tell me - show more colors - look down in comments
VainGorgonCrybaby 18 Nov, 2015 @ 9:43am
But how does it look in bright colours? White, creams, light blues, crimsons, etc? So far black and metallic teal/vermillion/etc is all you've got and it doesn't help get an idea of how it will look with player customization.

The texures look good. Show me better the color tints and patterns, and I may just buy it yet.
WickedDude  [author] 18 Nov, 2015 @ 4:42am
Dude ,i know it's hard to understand - no one don't have a prisma effects, only people from Warframe co. have that's effects. They add all effects if that skin added in the game
aGothLizard 18 Nov, 2015 @ 2:45am
It still doesn't evoke that prisma feel that DE has put out. The black doesn't lend itself to the unique blending and patterns that the prisma items tend to have. Honestly I'd rebrand it as something else because it does look good from what I can tell.
TelosRyu 17 Nov, 2015 @ 5:35pm
Not bad, but I don't think it changes enough things to warrant buying another skin.
Harl3y 15 Nov, 2015 @ 5:49pm
amazing!
sev 15 Nov, 2015 @ 4:31pm
I agree that it should make use of all tint channels. Leaving the default colors as they currently are but adapting for more user choice is never a bad thing, and would give the user more for their purchase.
Fraxien 15 Nov, 2015 @ 2:43pm
Prismag.
Lamp 15 Nov, 2015 @ 12:52pm
This is a much better version of a prisma skin. Can actually see the prisma and it's more spread over the body unlike DE's "Prisma Excalibur" skin which is a joke. Make a REAL prisma skin for Excal just like you did for Mag and I will buy it day one (assuming I had the money).
Tyeia 15 Nov, 2015 @ 9:11am
I would vote for this to be in the game for all but one reason. It being black does not make it prisma. If you changed the name so it is not prisma guardian, i would be perfectly fine with this skin, it looks nice, the name just puts me off though.
WickedDude  [author] 15 Nov, 2015 @ 5:02am
And I do not think it's a minus for this skin, it just makes it special, make it better, exclusive. Anyway I want to do something not similar to what was in Warframe before.
WickedDude  [author] 15 Nov, 2015 @ 4:49am
Yes, it's optional, configurable only 3 colors. Pattern, Energy and the transition edges of the pattern with black. I think that only in combination with the black still looks very organic and perfect game. After all, that is what the skin Prism Guardian reviewed and positively evaluated a large number of users.
Kthal 15 Nov, 2015 @ 4:42am
So, to clarify, the black is not optional? And you are only using two of the five tints?

All Prisma skins so far have been fully customizable, all metallic and non-metallic regions.
WickedDude  [author] 15 Nov, 2015 @ 4:40am
I repeat - it is prismatic skin, prevalence and dominance of black simply necessary. If you wanna see ordinary skin full of color patterns - i can do it special for all who want it.
So, leave comments - I want ordinary - who wants to separate the skin from the TINT mask-like skin in Warframe "immortal", and I'll start working on.
Kthal 15 Nov, 2015 @ 4:17am
It's still difficult to figure out the different regions from the images. I can see that some of it can be coloured, and you've shown how different energy colours appear, but there are four tint channels.

Can you upload a pigture of the skin using full red/green/blue/yellow on the four colour channels so we can see exactly what we are voting for?
