I've posted on Polycount to raise awareness about your ripping efforts. Polycount is the community where many of these models were made, and some of the authors do still hang around there.
Also if an author is in fact dead, it still doesn't make it public domain to post their work as your own. You'd have to wait 75 years for that to happen first.
i tell you again i have asked a workshop devs about this.
Workshop item can be deleted only when author can proof that he is a author.

i made my own translation and then many people after me translate by my way to other languages like a croatian german and chinese and i dont made angry that is they stolen my method for load translation etc. i am happy that i have been usefull, not like you.

If you dont want that other people has released your work - is your right you can ask devs to delete work with your authors
but in other cases i dont want to wait when people who dont care about their models or forgot about them

and policy of workshop is not demand to me to post not my own work
if author will disagree with my work post and if he proof that is he a author i will delete this.
in other cases you cant check public it or not.
i donwload it free so last chance to delete it from here is last word of author.
