I have a problem as wel, whenever i use lvl as a variable it fails to use it, so when i use it as a variaable for xptimereward config, and xpperkill it doesnt give me any xp at all

Yeah. I eventually stopped using this because of reasons like that. It's not bad but I want something more. I actually started my own project, and I plan on adding more depth to the "perk" system like more of them, and having ranks to increase its power, as well as gradually getting stronger without it (like increased HP and attack power) And you won't get experience for doing nothing, you'll have to work for it, especially at higher levels.

Once it's done, which might take a while, I'll be sure to credit MaDmaxwell311 as his scripts were very useful.

Hello, as you can tell from everyone else commanting we would like to know how to stop the function of XP being gained by doing nothing. Some people use it for RP like killing enemies and gaining XP.

Also would love to turn off the default perks, they're too far apart to mean anything and the "get xp from doing nothing" is a thing I particularly detest, this cannot be configured well aside from adding modules/perks and trying to run the github/local version only makes it not work at all so there's no way to easily do any of those things I really really want to do

You open the perks menu by typing '!perks' in chat without the quotations. Either team or global chat will work and before you ask, yes you can chat in singleplayer as well.
As for modules and perks, download the file from github in the mod description, open up the contained .luas in the modules and perks with Notepad or other text editor and find out yourself. If you really want to I can upload some examples, as I just freed up room on dropbox. Other than that you're on your own.
