Hi CuriousPeach6, You're not being annoying whatsoever, it is a very understandable question (especially if you're newer to the workshop - I'm not sure if you are or not?). This will not affect the original route and will listed as a separate route within your route list. It downloads after you press subscribe and it's like as if you download freeware or other payware content and they appear separately. This is the same for any other workshop route. But please, if you are unsure, don't be afraid to ask! :) Thank you for the comment and thank you for your interest in this route.

Hi pjohnandlyns, thank you for checking out my route. I understand that a lot of people are having issues with the trackwork and other, that I edited from outside Camden Road to Dalston Kingsland and Stratford low level. Unfortunately, I really do not know why the issues are happening because I only used the NLL route for assets and nothing else was 'ticked' either (I checked). The red circles with black crosses are signals that show up like that in editor, when first placed, but as you can possibly see from my screenshots normal signals are shown. Also regarding track direction, I do not believe I tampered with the direction setting and everything has worked perfectly for me. It's possible (now thinking about it) that I used Kuju/Railsimulator assets in the stratford area but I really don't understand (again) why these issues are happening, and I'm sorry I can't be of more help :(

Recently found out about your route so subscribed to have a look. Liked what I saw until I tried to create a standard scenario on it from Richmond to Stratford.

Couldn't get past Camden Rd P 2 because immeditaely east of there for quite some distance, the track directionality is wrong, against the direction of travel. (Using space bar)

Also, looking at the 2D route map there are quite a lot of red dots with black crosses on them between Camden Rd and Dalston.Kingsland Stns and then again around Stratford. If you look at the locations at the point where they are you can see a "milk bottle" shaped item (missing items).
Comparing it with the original route at the same points the missing things seem to signals and/or AWS & TPWS ramps/grids.

Hi taylorjsj, I am sorry to hear of you too having this strange issue. I really have no idea of the cause and having unsubbed and resubbed the route myself (it works as it should) I am really stumped.

Regarding the sceanarios and quick drives, I cloned the original route (with I believe the scenarios too) and I don't know if they've transfered onto steam with the route. Once agan I am sorry for the issues you are having, but I appreciate your kind words :)

Also there's no senarios or quickdrives showing up too.

I'm also having problems with this route as 2 others has mentioned such as the missing trackwork between Highbury & Islington and Caledonian Road & Barnsbury, the 3rd rail seems to be missing too from Stratford Lower level (as well as the platforms at the lower level) all the way up to Canonbury Station.

It's strange as I do have the North London Line too, but from what is visible it looks very good! Shame I can't play the route though. I'll try to unsub and sub again constantly to see if anything changes.

Hi JPT1987, just so I can rule out something on my mind, can I calrify that between Caledonian Road & Barnsbury - Canonbury there are 3 running rails? Two rails for DC and a singular rail separate from the two DC's for AC (noted by the overhead wire over that section of track)?

If this is the case, no track is missing whastoever. Is there any other track missing meaning that the two DC continuous lines and the singular AC continuous line are then not created? Thanks in advance.

PoxyMoxon97 alot of the track is already down on the route there is just a bit of track missing from Highbury & Islington station to Caledonian Road and Barnsbury railway station.

Hi JPT1987, I didn't realise you are still have track issues. Are you sure that the key "9" 2D map shows all the track connected at all? And if you having to connect the track up yourself, it's best to search up route building tutorials on youtube. And there is a way you can raise the track using a track editing tool called "Gradient". Hope this helps.

PoxyMoxon97 can you help me you see i am having difficulty connecting tracks togeather on the pre overground route between Highbury & Islington station and Caledonian Road and Barnsbury railway station. the first problam i have is once i start connecting track from Highbury & Islington station the track dissapears underground and then i have problams working out if the tracks is connected or not. so i was wonding if you had so advice for me.

Hi JPT1987, Are you trying to use a quick drive by any chance? You're saying that you are trying to drive the route, but what means are you trying to drive the route? I mentioned in the description that quick drives and scenarios (which I don't think copy over anyway) will not work due to the track editing. Therefore you'll have to create a free roam scenario yourself, as the one I created did not copy over as I thought it would. Hope this helps.

dizzzydan how did you get the North London Line: Pre-Overground route to work cos i have the class 378 and the north london line and steam workshop won't let me drive the route.

Hi JPT1987, someone also commented about track missing earlier on in release and this did confused me as all you need is the NLL route - nothing else is required. I suggest unsubscribing and resubscribing to see if that fixes the error as I really am stumped with how that issue had come about. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

PoxyMoxon97 i do have a version of the North London Line: Pre-Overground but there is not alot of third rail in and bits of track are missing as well also do i take it i will need to NLL backdated and the NLL for the route to work

Hi JPT1987, if you have already unsubscribed from the route in game on the Drive menu / Workshop tab, then you will need to click web browser to search for this route on steam workshop. However, if you have not unsubscribed from the route in game, the 'View' button (not browse) will bring up the direct steam workshop page for the route in the web browser. Hope this helps.

Hi JPT1987, you'll have to press 'Shift' + 'Tab' for the steam overlay to appear then search for it that way, if you didn't click 'Browse' (I think it was) on the in game 'Workshop' tab page.

Hi JPT1987, I've had a look into the editing and everything is in order. So, what you'll need to do is go into game, go to the 'Drive' menu and select the 'Workshop' tab at the top right. Unsubscribe from the route then resubscribe through game there and then. That should then redownload the route and it should work, as this has worked for me when I have downloaded routes off of workshop myself. Hope you get it sorted.

Hi JPT1987, it is indeed on workshop and I have finalised the route via the game. I don't understand how you are having this issue I only editied say 30-45% of the NLL route. I hope you get it sorted but I shall do some quick investigating from my end.

under the 'DTG' list in the right hand tab select the 'Class378Pack01' or whatever it is and then go to the left hand tab again to find the 378 in the list. Hope this helps.

Make sure that in the object filter under the DTG tab that the 'Class378Pack01' or which ever it is is ticked then that should allow it. (This is in the Free Roam scenario editor by the way). Hope this helps.

Search on youtube for free roam scenario creations from like Matt Peddleston or someone if you require further assistance.

Hi dizzydan, If you are referring to 'Quick Drive' I did warn that they may not work due to the editing of track. So all I can suggest (and do myself) is create your own Quick Drive or Free Roam scenario (which is easy enough to accomplish). I hope that helps, sorry for any inconvinience.

Hello, dizzzydan, this route is ready right now. I know about the 'Work In Prgoress' tab is up but that's only becuase I can;t make it final and something to with 30 ratings or something. But this route is indeed finished. **There is though another project / route edit/extension I am working on for another route I aim to have ready this year... So stay tuned**

-- Regarding the scenarios I did give a warning in the description, which is as follows:

"I have coppied over all the scenarios from the DLC NLL route, which I doubt they'll work thanks to the substancial track and signal work within the route, so they might have to be sorted out by you scenario geniuses (I can only do minimal ( ;) ) route editing + Free Roam scenarios). I have, however, INCLUDED a free roam scenario at Willesden TMD with 3 x 378's, 001-003 all freshly delivered so that they can be tested ;) "

The only thing I can recommend is possibly unsubscribe and then subscribe again to see if that fixes the issue because as long as you have the North London Line route everything uses the assets from this route. Please do let me know how it goes and I hope I have helped you out :)

Hello KirkinsteinMLG, I am really sorry to hear about the problem you're having with the route.

Regarding the Stratford LL platforms, I have checked what assets they are from and I confirmed my suspictions - they are indeed from the NLL platform assets so they really should show up.

Regarding the track between the section you mentioned. That is all entriely NLL assests as well but I am alittle confused what you meant by track is missing as I did modify it down to 3-track running (2-track third rail running lines and 1-track overhead wires running line - between Calednoian Road & B to almost Dalston Kingsland) from the modern day 4-track running. So the track should be present as well. --

urm there seems to be quite a few missing assets, i have the north london line dlc but there are no visable platforms at stratford low level, there is quite a chunk of missing track between highbury and islington and caledonian road and barnsbury (yes i am on the correct side) so i dont know what other assets i am missing but i'm going to have to give this a downvote for the meantime
oh yeah, i should also point out that the quick drive scenarios are broken and dont even list any destinations on the menu forcing me to use free roam instead
apart from the bad things, the route kinda represents the north london line in 2008/09
