this old gem - very useful to me and helped me with my new mod im working on - your mod gives my mod and Capital Ship Bridge mod total compatibility .

You don't need to post them. Just try playing with only this and Bridge mod to see if they're working correctly.

I'm not seeing any problem with that dock in my game. Are you running any mods besides this one and Capital Ship Bridge?

I think this mod causes errors...i have started a campaign...head to HAO Lonely mines for mission...and instead of going to default platform(which is a glass...bar)...it goes to the repair platform...and i can't move at all(inside i mean)...it happened twice...i thought the game frozed...but it didn't...i just opened the menu and leaved the platform...

Ok, I removed the requirement for the original mod so you can use the "4.0" version if you want. I was reluctant to make the change because I thought they were stealing credit for making the original.

that mod irronically fixes alot more than just postion of shield and hull info. if the main mod developer has ceased fixing there mod, but that mod author has indeed taken over and updated why dont you fix ur mod to be compatabilbe with his? that way we can all enjoy it once again? just an idea.... unless you too are ceasing updates

Also, the original Capital Ship Bridge mod works fine in 4.0 except for the hull and shield indicator being mispositioned.

That "4.0" version isn't the official mod, it's a tweaked version reposted by a different mod author. They probably should've made their changes as an add-on like I did with this mod.

So it seems that the Capital Ship Bridge mod no longer supports 4.0, and this mod doesn't work on the 4.0 version of that mod? Can you confirm this? Loving the mod otherwise. Thanks!

Ok, I fixed it so the ship doesn't need to be in squad to show the reassign crew option and there is now an option to reassign the architect.

With CVs as well. even if not attached to a station you can't shift the architect.

Any ship thats being managed by another ship or station also can't shift crew though as a work around you can squad them. Shift crew and then reassign them back.

So CV's are an issue, after you've built a station you can no longer have them join your squad, and then you don't get the option of reassigning the crew...

Is it possible to tweak the mod to move crew to the capship bridge once the station has been built? Without this, the mod is cannot be removed safely.

hi, first my english is really bad sorry for that.

i test your mod with the last capital ship bridge update of Armodeus ( take on official forums )
and i see a little trouble , when you dock on the repair dock and you look the entrance of the Skunk you see they holo-map of the Bridge of Capital Ship Bridge mod.
i dont know if this trouble come of your mod or not but if I want to report it here too.

@Goliathmk2: It's not exclusive to AutoCrew. Assigning Crewmembers to a Cap ship puts them at random into one of the two docks.
All you can do is to try re-assign new crew members and hope they go to the right dock to prevent their stay in the void after deaktivating this mod.

Be advised to anyone using this with the AutoCrew mod. NPC's can be automayically placed on the either the bridge or repair dock equally, if this mod is removed all the crew on the repair dock will go with them.

This only shows for me when the crewman is on the actual bridge an not the repairdock. Might be mod related?

Its a nice mod. Also it isnt big of a problem when the engeneer end up on the other plattform. However there seems to be a problem calling the engineer back on board of the skunk once it ended up in the repair dock because the option to come back on board is missing. The only way is to replace the engeer with another one what is kind of annyoing.

Any crew that was on the bridge before the mod was installed should still be there afterward. What I meant to say before was that the crew would only end up on the repair dock if they weren't assigned directly. For example, when you purchase a new ship the captain is randomly placed on either the bridge or repair dock. The same thing happens if a crew member moves onto a ship via a remote transport drone. To ensure sure they go to the correct platform, they must be onboard the Skunk first, then you can land on the platform and call them remotely to work there. So if they're on the repair dock for that Taranis, you'll have to have tell them to "come back onboard" then land on the bridge and reassign them.

Also, thanks for mentioning the "stay on this ship" option. I forgot it was in the game, which means it's possible to put an extra engineer on the repair dock if you wanted to.

Thanks by the quick reply. Humm.. i guess that capship original crew must always stay on bridge and only my engineer is to be on the dock. Any possibility to make it works this way? As an example, on the situation below, i docked on a taranis that was already in game and with complete crew. I expected to see Capship crew on bridge and just my engineer on dock (after I assigned it to this ship - using "stay on this ship" on the dock). If i understood you well (the below reply) I need to dock on the bridge first, replace all its crew and then they will stay always on bridge? (excuse me by my english, isnt my native language)

When you assign the crew remotely it's completely random (50:50) whether they go to the bridge or dock. The only way to make sure the crew is on the bridge is to land there and then assign them.

Hi camus! Thanks by more this great mod. I have one annoying behaviour (using XR 4.00/last CapshipBridge mod and this one obviously). All the Capship crew is on the dock! (including my enginner if assigned to this ship) and the Capship bridge itself have no crew...Any idea?

Yeah, but it would take some time. I'd have to look at each modded ship and add the dock component manually.

So with this mod you cna add 2 engineers to one ship right? thats the impression that i'm getting.

One in the repair dock for the skunk or other ships, and one in the bridge for the ship itself.

If i'm wrong than everything is working as its intended.

I don't know why it's not working for you while docked, but when you're undocked it's a 50:50 chance for the engineer to go to either dock.

I can remove the engineer, but no matter which engineer or where i'm at, docked or undocked it will only place the engineer in the repair docks

I've tried that, i only get the option to replace the current engineer, now that i've installed this mod and replaced the engineer, they will only go to the repair docks and not the bridge.

Even if i land on the bridge and do it he will replace the engineer on the repair docks.

You have to land at the repair dock, call crew remotely, then tell engineer to work here.

I understand you need to assign your own engineer to the repair docks.

But how do you do that?

When I typically assign a crew member i tell them to work somewhere else for me and select a ship, but when i do that it only replaces the engineer on the bridge and he/she does not go in the repair docks.
