Bridge

It snap's in one direction and it is destroyed on the snapped side. That is the way it has been ... pretty much forever... as I recall.

what did you expect from an abandoned mod from 2018

Mod doesn't work, bridges will only snap in one direction. No responses from author in years, no comment from author besides to spam their crypto links. Downvoted to prevent other users from downloading a broken mod.

This is the best mod. But there seems to be one bug. If you try to pass the end of the slope after riding the dinosaur, the dinosaur will get caught and tremble. Can I get some help?

this is one of those "once you have it you cant live without it" mods.

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and bitch about things you get for free.

On one end of the bridge there is an Options wheel that allows shortening, lengthening or widening of the bridge.

how on earth do you make them shorter

Eine sehr gute Idee und ausgezeichnet für den Brückenbau aber je breiter die Brücken gezogen werden, dass auch größerer Dinos drüber gehen können, desto mehr verzieht sich das Aussehen/Skalierung des Untergrundes was leider überhaupt nicht mehr schön aussieht. Es wird einfach nur langgezogen/ gestreckt.

schade hätte sehr gerne die Mod behalten lief aber leider nur bei der ersten Bücke bei der zweiten wurde das dritte teilstück nicht mehr angenommen sagt kein fundament da obwohl es da ist aber naja schade trotzdem

Last update was in 2018. Genesis then came out and totally messed up a lot of mods. Show WC you want a fixed game by not buying broken DLC's. WC MIGHT then realize we want a working program.

- Snapping is buggy, sometimes works sometimes not ("requires foundation" even if it has it perfectly snapped).
- Dinos can get stuck between two snapped bridges, requiring me to destroy the bridge (and its high af foundation pillars)

I would like to point out that it's not the Metal Bridge, it is the Ramped Metal Bridge that is not able to be placed unless it's small distances. The Metal Bridge I have no idea if it can be used or not.

Cant use the Metal Bridge other then for short distances. Will not register and vanishes when you get close to the other side. Attempting to connect 2 land masses together in Vulguero as we speak. You can clearly see the Bridge is connected on the other side of the land mass, and yet when you go to run up the bridge on the side you built your bridge, you fall through the structure before you hit the very top of the Bridge. Very upsetting as yes this is an older mod, but this mod looked amazing and now I can confirm that you can not use the Metal Bridge unless it's very short distances. Any help with this matter would be welcomed of course.

The foundation that you use to connect bridges needs to touch the ground in order for the snapping to work

Was able to get around not being able to snap 2 bridges together by combining stackable foundations from Structures Plus with the bridge, by making tall pillars out of the stacking foundations, which snapped to the end of the bridge, which then allowed the next bridge to snap in place.

Can't snap two wood bridges together, says it needs a foundation. Adding foundation does nothing, still can't snap em together.

Mod has not been updated since 2018. Doubtful if a new bridge will be appearing soon.

I have to say the mod is good. But why does my bridge suddenly disappear when i'm above it?

Awesome mod thanks for giving us something that cures quite a few headaches when it comes to building things. A pontoon bridge with the same mechanics would be cool!

They are engrams you get to pick and choose which you learn.

once i add this mod ,are the bridges added to the engrams or do i have to use commands to spawn them ?

Great mod! Two suggestions. Dinos moving from steep inclined/declined bridges (+/-30) to level bridges glitch on the transition and get stuck for a few seconds or more. Pillars that snap to bridges with inclines point at the angle of the bridge so building supports is kinda wonky for long bridges. Fix those and this would be pretty perfect.

Hey, strange! Once I was able to mount your bridge on a raft, now I can't! Can you please check and change that small setting so it can be placed again? Big thanks!
