Im having trouble getting the mod to work with AGOT any suggestions.
WinterNova 6 Feb, 2024 @ 3:24pm
is there any mod with this functionality in CK3?
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 10 Jan, 2024 @ 1:26am
Sure, just if you post anything with my work, credit me.
Goldilocksguy 10 Jan, 2024 @ 1:22am
Hey Sin, can I use your mods to practice creating my own events by editing the code? Thankfully, your mods are easy to understand.
adamnus 9 Jan, 2024 @ 6:25am
Cool
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 16 Feb, 2020 @ 6:28pm
can't say until ck3 is released and if I can even afford to buy it, and if it's worth buying. Plus it might already have it integrated.
Genseric123 16 Feb, 2020 @ 7:18am
are you planning on transferring this mod over to CK3 when it comes out?
Axis1211 31 Oct, 2019 @ 3:12pm
from the sounds of it I need to edit a file though I'm not sure what to write for HIP as a dependency.
Axis1211 31 Oct, 2019 @ 11:48am
Is this compatible with HIP?
cambot 29 Oct, 2019 @ 1:26pm
can anyone explain what the dependencie would be thank you
Phiber Optik 3 Oct, 2019 @ 7:28am
Fixed it by redownloading / subbing.
I saw that the .mod descriptor file changed from .mod --> .mod.mod

Hi SinStar87, love the mods! used them all in AGOT, haven't played without this one for as long as I can remember.

Now just suddenly, after more than a year of working like a charm, visit chambers is no longer an option when selecting a lover / wife. Its no longer in the context menu.
My question now so I can try and debug it myself, does your mod touch anything vanilla? or is it all new files?

I already added the dependancy for HIP (tried with dependancy and without) but that didn't solve my issue. Well now I think about it, the problems started when I reformed my religion (hellenic).

Any ideas/tips?

How would I add a dependency with Elder Kings?
Selvetrica 19 Jul, 2019 @ 9:49am
Anyone know why I crash when I add the dependency
ziggy 8 Jul, 2019 @ 4:09pm
Hey Sin, love all your mods, specially when adapted to GOT mod. Well done. I was wondering, would it be possible to play as a dragon courtier like in conjunction with your landless adventurer mod? I was thinking it would be fun to be a dragon for one of the characters in the Targ dynasty and like be passed down the line. That might not be possible in the ck2 engine to be literally nothing but like a companion for a AI but I figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks.
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 28 May, 2019 @ 2:53am
should, if you use it with an overhaul you need to add a dependency like exampled.
l x khalifa x l 28 May, 2019 @ 2:43am
is this updated?
Borderline 22 Apr, 2019 @ 11:53am
doesent seam to be working with current version of GOT works with regular CK2 tho

ty
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 19 Mar, 2019 @ 6:14pm
no. just copy the dependencies line and paste it below that stuff.
trao 19 Mar, 2019 @ 6:05pm
do i delete this:
name="Sin's Visit Chambers"
archive="mod/visit chambers.zip"
picture="SinStar87.jpg"
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 19 Mar, 2019 @ 5:26pm
should look something like this after the edit
name = "AGOT Play"
path = "mod/AGOT Play"
dependencies = { "A Game of Thrones" }
trao 19 Mar, 2019 @ 5:15pm
do i just write dependency on notepad
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 4 Feb, 2019 @ 6:59pm
*shrug* guess we'll know if anyone posts about it again. Updated with the new check.
grim 4 Feb, 2019 @ 6:55pm
it might break something else i just got bored and that seemed to work. it seems is_consort is more for birth checks rather than checking to see if its an active consort if that makes any sense
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 4 Feb, 2019 @ 6:50pm
makes no sense but will change it.
grim 4 Feb, 2019 @ 6:45pm
if you change line 72
FROM = { is_consort = ROOT }.
and replace the line to be
any_consort = { character = FROM }
it seems to fix the problem
lake chud 20 Jan, 2019 @ 8:28pm
It doesn't work for concubines or consorts.
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 29 Dec, 2018 @ 12:33pm
No.
PyroSaphuron 29 Dec, 2018 @ 12:28pm
I realize you say that and all, but clearly the game doesn't consider them the same thing, so... Have you reported the modding bug to the official forums?
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 29 Dec, 2018 @ 12:26pm
SinStar87 [author] Nov 29 @ 9:36pm
idk, there's only an is_consort codition and says it's for either consort or concubine
PyroSaphuron 29 Dec, 2018 @ 12:24pm
When will this mod be updated to fix the problem with not being able to visit concubines?
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 29 Nov, 2018 @ 6:36pm
idk, there's only an is_consort codition and says it's for either consort or concubine
MrWepx 29 Nov, 2018 @ 6:13pm
The only way I made it work was if I made my concubine my lover via cheat/console command
MrWepx 29 Nov, 2018 @ 6:11pm
I don't get the option for my concubines, just for my wife. Is this a bug or something? I don't have any mods that change concubines or anything and it was working before
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 22 Nov, 2018 @ 3:00am
should work with consorts and I don't think the game distinguishes between a concubine and consort.
lake chud 21 Nov, 2018 @ 7:15pm
Can you do it with a concubine or consort?
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 17 Nov, 2018 @ 10:42am
no idea. Alt Start requires far more knowledge of paradox's workings than I have.
Jerö 17 Nov, 2018 @ 10:33am
How can I get this to work in the alt-start option in holy fury? works just fine if I play a normal game
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 26 Oct, 2018 @ 6:48pm
it's set up to work the same way for either sex, save who ends up pregnant in such outcomes.
IDK about that, there's already spouse and lover opinion boosts. I've now got an idea for varied, performance based, outcomes though.
spartan1204 26 Oct, 2018 @ 6:34pm
Shouldn't there be some opinion bonus when you visit the chambers of a lover?
TheSquirrelofHuscurl 23 Oct, 2018 @ 5:33pm
I'm pretty sure this is bugged for female rulers. Ruling a duchy and trying to visit my husband's chambers because one does not simply have enough kids. Press the button but nothing happens.
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 21 Aug, 2018 @ 5:48pm
hmm?
Dr. Quackers M.D. 21 Aug, 2018 @ 5:44pm
Women cant vist chambers even if they are ruler...SEXIST!
Franimus 17 Jun, 2018 @ 10:14pm
Would love to see a "try to have kids" / "stop trying" persistent effect for spouses rather than having to constantly visit chambers every month. Preferably taking into account polygamy/concubinage as well.
zepara76 12 Jun, 2018 @ 8:29pm
Thanks for the response and sorry for my delayed response. I found the mod that was conflicting with my game. Thank goodness it wasn't this one lol
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 31 May, 2018 @ 11:02pm
Shouldn't need patching.
zepara76 31 May, 2018 @ 9:44pm
is this updated for the latest patch?
SinStar87 (He/Him)  [author] 9 May, 2018 @ 4:06am
no
horngeek 9 May, 2018 @ 12:51am
Just to check, does this override the normal mechanics of getting a spouse pregnant?
