@Jasper I actually made a similar mod, but I came to the conclusion that I would just end up getting blamed for any bugs they haven't smoothed out yet/corrupted prisons (people don't seem to read descriptions these days) so I never bothered to release it. But hey, that's just me. I'm going to tidy this mod up a bit for the grave and move on to some bigger projects. Best of luck to you!

Also works with freefire: Escaping prisoners will be shot, but non escaping prisoners will get warning shots if freefire is off.

I just checked the objects.png file, and they have added their own Guard Tower sprite, so you don't have to use that grey thingy anymore.

Just fyi, "Mortally Wounded" means they'll die, just not instantly

The base game contains items of the same ID as the ones in this mod, but they are hard-coded to be disabled. Looks like they are adding their own guard towers and shut me down in advance. Sorry everyone, I could fix it but I honestly don't see the point.

yeah, it is a cool idea and works, but after a riot or a snitch is killed, the snipers will target a dead person and shoot them, reviving them, which lowers my death count back to 0, and if they are revived soon enough they don't get taken away by a hearse, ready to be killed again.

@Sambot, the sniper tower seems to detect death (in my case of a snitch) as misbehavior and knocks them unconscious rather than letting them die.

Found a bug - Whenever a prisoner is shot and they are on the absolute edge of death, the guards take them to a hearse anyways. Maybe lower the damage a little?

ALRIGHT!!! ALL OF YOU WITH SCREWED UP TEXTURES (i.e. snipers looking like doors, sniper tower having textures on it ETC.) I HAVE A SOLUTION1!! disable the texture the mod is from. I would look mostly at the sniper tower to get them all, not the sniper. i.e. the developer (dev) utility mod will put a bunch of its custom textures onto the tower. if so, uninstall it.

also has problems with the Developer (dev) Utility Mod for Prisoner/Gang/Objects

@Marc_Flower Some people have commented on "Stock Sprite Fix" saying it causes issues with door sprites when other mods are used at the same time. Try disabling that one and let me know if it changes anything.

To all of you having the issue with doors: I'm not getting anything like that in my game. I honestly have no clue why that would happen. What operating systems are you all using? What other mods are or aren't causing it? Any information is much appreciated, though it sounds like a bug in the modding API.

I have the same graphics issue. with the doors and metal detector graphics messd up. This happens with a number of other mods as well. Running Ubuntu, 64 bit.

nice mod but i didn't use it because I have the same issue with SirLagsalott. Doors, concrete metal detectors and several other items are shown as snipers. Do you need any files to get an idea of the problem?

@SirLagsalott I'm certainly not seeing that. Are you using any other mods? I'm not sure how that would happen, my mod doesn't overwrite any door sprites.

@Guardbuddy It's implied that they are tall enough to fire over buildings and walls, but they should not be able to see inside of them.
