A user on one of the SE workshop pages has figured out a solution to the issue everyone is having with stationary weapons so i will paste it here and hopefully you can figure out a solution from there:

"Figured out a quick fix for the weapons, basically SE atm expects every small gatling type weapon to have a barrel model with apropriate empties, to fix mine i just made a tiny cube as a barrel that is basically invisible and set up the projectile muzzle empties on that."

I cant use the guns for some reason like they dont even appear in the hotbar or any wear at that matter...

Pokeking, it actually depends on the round that the gun is fireing, some rounds are made to frag ment in side of hull rather than expload, or some are almost completely explosive rather than armor penatrating explosive, kinda like artillary. there is like a million differnt rounds but one thing i know is that you cant just say that tanks use this round and not explain the concept of differnt rounds, even though you are right.

R@ ShoopShoop: Actually, tank and warship cannons are designed to use rounds that penetrate armor and explode after impact and not on impact as a round that gets past the hull (armor) before it explodes will almost certainly wreck the recieving vehicle or section of ship, where as a round that explodes on impact and doesn't even dig into the hull before it explodes will simply destroy some or all the armor plating and barely do anything to the inside and may disorient, injure, or kill some crew, but requiring a second or third shot to actually disable the vehicle or section of ship. Not only do delayed explosive armor-percing rounds save money on ammunition, but eliminate the extra time to reload more than once.

Shoop: The thing is with how the game is right now rounds don't really penetrate since bullet based weapons in this game can only damage the block they hit. But yeah good points, and I really do like this gun.

these guns simply delete large station armor blocks, I shot them at 1 x light armor station block (gone one shot) tried against large station heavy armor block ( gone one shot) tried against tiered armor - 1 layer light, 1 layer glass, 1 gap layer, blast door, then heavy armor - 4 shots to get through.

Way too powerful for vanilla armor blocks.

MrEvan, tank guns like this are more realistic, because in real life, tank shells are actually just giant bullets. I actually prefer it like this as well, because these pierce armor better, and depending on the cannon from the workshop, will sometimes keep going.

Why are there no tank cannons or tank cannon turrets that are explosive? They're all based on gatlings. I just want some explosive cannons.:) I like this mod, though. It's one of the better "tank" looking weapons.

ofcorse it was made by a guy who probably does not know english -_- (not judgeing or hateing him for it) just great....now we can't pester him enough to get him to make us a set of weapons for smaller or larger tanks... :(

thats not an apc thats a Tank an APC is a transport and support vehicle it's called an APC [Armored Personel Carrier] and they usually have turret mounts for internal use.

a auto cannon for apc's think thin barreled like the M2A3 bradley and smaller cannons for smaller tanks like maybe ELC AMX small... or bigger than that even.

i thought the middle was for advanced rotors just made fancy and all, and for the last one im not sure if that one even has a conveyor port...

@Dark Lynette I suspect because most of the cal guns are numbers easily divisible by 2/4/8/16/32/64/128, etc, which likely makes it easier as a modder to make appropriate textures and models. Also, 32, 52, 76, 92, 134.. Also weird cals. :P
