This is still my favorite Atmospheric Fighter. Simple and effective.

If you maneuver well firing the guns or the top rockets you hit the cockpit, which is why I don't have the armor around the nose nor rockets on top of my original design. It's a shame the atmospheric engines are so damned ugly, it destroys the aesthetics of my design as well, that isn't your fault, I think Keen should have done a better job of those atmo thrusters.

It's an absolutely beautiful ship, it's very much the sort of style I tend to shoot for. My only complaint with the atmospheric version is that it really needs more vertical thrust. Other than that, it's a stellar ship. Well done.
