@Junna - hey, can we talk private regarding this asset?
I Smell Smoke 2 Dec, 2018 @ 9:31am
I'll get the error. As soon as I planted this. I received an endless error. None of the other assets caused the problem. not sure why. I'll duplicate it and post.

Are you sure it is from this? This is just an asset made for the mod, any incompatibility should be related to the mod, not to an asset, unless it was broken somehow, but I haven't had any issues with this or any other senior housing assets for the mod.

Is this a dead asset? Ive have been receiving errors on this lately.

@Miza-Rin, @t1a2l, et al: BoostHungry has updated the mod to work with 1.6, just FYI.

It appears that the senior citizen mod does not work and has not been updated yet. I am not sure what happens to assets like this when the mod is not loaded; it might load as a regular hospital, I'll have to test that later.

If the senior housing mod still works, yes? I think without it might appear as a hospital? I haven't tested that though.

@Miza-Rin - Does it work with the new update?

300 rooms is a cut down from the real building, which has 504 flats (9 flats per side for a total of 18 per floor).

Still love this asset. Though I think it might be more apt as a 1 or 2 star nursing home given how many are crammed into such a small space.

LOD model is easy to make
2 youtube videos which can help u with that moment

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0AxpqgRHKM&list=PLgPCPy7HK4iRVuQyBuVTKXORvyxHnhyoQ (blender example but easy to get main idea)
Don't wnat to be offencive with LOD request but I'm playing in 5-6k resolutions and rlly want 2 use your nursing home. Without LOD it just stands out too much =)

Cheers!

It is, but nevertheless, I can't make a good custom one. I can't make the textures better either, because I have to edit the textures manually, so I cannot see the alignment of the textures on the model before I import it into the game (I can't get it to show up in 3ds). This makes it difficult to make corrections of any sort, which is why the texture's a bit shoddy (especially inside the atrium, because I don't know how to divide the texture mapping (UV) without making physical cuts in the model which just adds more useless tris.

It needs custom LOD. Autogenerated one is rlly poor(

Note that you can now scale the number of rooms available in the Nursing Homes by using the Options Menu of the Senior Citizen Center Mod

Thank you!! Could it be possible to get more nursing homes with a high capacity, perhaps a 5 star version? I'm in love with this one, it's perfect for my 140k city!

This is Japan's residential building it

Good job.
Junna  [author] 27 Nov, 2015 @ 10:28am
Requires the mod to work right. Not sure if it loads without the mod; if it does, it probably works only as a regular hospital. However, as it is 4x16, it can't be a zoned (residential) building as it ought to be. This allows it to house people while still being large.
mrfdot 27 Nov, 2015 @ 9:58am
This requires the MOD to use it, or could it just be a regular building without the mod?
