If this helmet had just metallic in the accent channel (not both metallic and non-metallic)
and if it had the non-metallic accent lines instead be in the tertiary channel and perhaps even the uncolorable metallic bits added to the accent channel (though this might make it less suited for matching default Excalibur) this helmet could have been more easily used as an interesting option for Excalibur Umbra/Prime fashion frame. Alas... this is from an older, different time...

Still a neat/interesting helmet though, especially the back bit that continues default Excalibur's black metallic techy bits.

Is it possible to update this helmet with metallic tint for the tertiary colour channel to make it a faux Prime/Umbra helmet?

Nah actually the name comes from a possible latin root word for Arthur, as in King Arthur, the story from which all the other canon helmets draw their names. The word directly translates to "plowman" which also suits the shape! Glad you love it * u * I AM SO HAPPY HEHEHE

I've been struggling as a designer myself downvoting helmets with obvious 100's of hours of work in them that just thematically don't fit Warframe. But I really like this one. AND it fits. Excal is kind of the catch-all of Warframes as pretty much anything fits on him. My only slight contention is the Rhino Horn is almost too massive. I feel like the top 2 Tiers of the 4 Tier Horn could be excluded and the helmet would still feel complete. Upvoting it anyways! ♥

So good it's indistinguisable from DE's helmets! I would totally buy it if i actually played Warframe anymore LOL.

I've just updated the files with a bit of a toned down version of the original in an effort to better match the default body. I changed the back fins to match the organic carapace look, resculpted the backsides of the fins, simplified the chin area, and got rid of needless details throughout. Hope you guys like the changes.

Really would love a skin to go with this to match the scheme of sharp edges and wedges.

Finally an excalibur piece I can endorse!
