@Xanadu-King

I chose them more for their role in Langobard history than the time period in which they existed. For instance, the Aztecs get the Jaguar as their replacement for a warrior. I gave them bronze swords for artistic purposes.

Swordsmen are also depicted in civ 5 as professional armored soldiers, not migratory warriors.

I am curious, since the Longbeards were an early middle age warrior, should they not replace the swordsman rather than the warrior? They just seem like it would work better as a swordsman rather than a simple warrior.

Please let me know if you figure out which mod was causing the conflict!

Seems good, but some mod support (E&D, cultural diversity, etc) would be great.
Also: if you use alternate leader selection, you can use two lombardy mods at one time. JFD has instructions for that on the mod page at civfanatics.

@Darth_Starkiller

I can add some events & decisions at some point if you'd like. I was a little concerned about the sight myself, but it's fun and doesn't carry over to embarked sight.
DarthKyofu 30 Nov, 2015 @ 4:10pm
A quite solid civ. My only complaint is that +3 sight seems a bit too much. By the way, does it have E&D support? If not, can it be expected?

@Baron von Porkenstein

Just planning/designing really, there were at least 3-4 other civs I wanted to do before the Lombards, it was just on my list is all.

@ryanjames

Aw, sorry man. I hate it when that happens - were you in the planning stage or had you made any progress on it? I'm not opposed to a third unique in my civs.
RJ 30 Nov, 2015 @ 2:41am
Aw, I wanted to do a Lombard civ led by Lutiprand.

Ah well, I have plenty of other civs on my list, really nice work here, interesting design, very high quality art, wonderful work!
