The acutally reminds me of the collectors from Mass Effect.....which i wouldn't be surprised if that was where it's inspiration is from considering the name.... Relay.

yes, very creaturesque, i couldn't remember where i'd seen something familiar to this, then Jag's comment got me thinking, it reminds me of the design of the parrot sentinel, which ironically came with Hydroid, just more extreme...i like

@antoineflemming: I tried to keep in the style of Warframe, and on the original helmets the patterns on the helmets are part of the diffuse, not the normal map. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Looks amazing. Only thing I'll ask though: Those black lines. Can they also be added to the normal map, so that they are like engraved in the helmet? It would make the surface of the helmet less flat.
