This asset is so fantastic my cims love to hang out in the 2 plazas in front of it. I am using them as part of the Clean Up Crew scenario

@nightmarenred: If you use Loading Screen Mod Revisited check whether it's set to only load used assets and not enabled ones. If you use Loading Order Mod then check to see if the profile you're using has it enabled. Those are the two reasons I can think of why they wouldn't load when you're subscribed to them.

I adore these assests, but sometime after December, they're not appearing in my game. I've sub/unsubbed to try and get them to show up, and checked my content manager. It doesn't show up in my game and it makes me sad because your sewer assets are just amazing. I'd love to be able to make them work again.
Avanya  [author] 14 Aug, 2022 @ 11:50pm
@Captainklums: No worries, glad you got it working :)
Captainklums 14 Aug, 2022 @ 3:38pm
@Avanya It was connected correctly yes but somehow it just took very, very long for the building to activate. Thanks for the asset, here's a screeshot :)

sorryu for bad upload quality

@Captainklums: Is it connected to the water pipes? How is the connection made?
Captainklums 12 Aug, 2022 @ 1:31pm
Hey thanks for the asset, built a nice waste water plant with the collection. One problem though, this one (admin building) is not operating, staying inactive. Any toughts?

@Zilla: That's the vanilla industrial fence prop
Castle 10 Apr, 2022 @ 2:01pm
is there a link to the fence that goes around the front, id like to complete the enclosure :) awesome asset
Avanya  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 8:39am
@eldar.kobaslic: Good news! It doesn't just look nice, it also works ^^
Avanya  [author] 1 Oct, 2021 @ 7:54am
@Sterben: Because that's how the game knows it isn't a water pump or sewage pump that sits on the shoreline. The default sewage pipe doesn't have "Use ground water" checked, so it outputs water into the environment. :)
Wilhelm924 27 Sep, 2021 @ 1:33am
@Avanya
It seems I unchecked the "use ground water".
It's a bit weird to have a building, connected to the 'WATER SUPPLY & sewage line' leak like that.
Normally these buildings IRL(In Real Life) are connected to the water supply,
so why is "use ground water" necessary?
Avanya  [author] 27 Sep, 2021 @ 12:07am
@Sterben: They don't do it without mods, so something is changing how they should behave. And as most buildings don't have a water output, you wouldn't see this with most buildings. ;)

Select them with Customize It and make sure that "Use ground water" is checked. I bet that's been unchecked somehow.
Wilhelm924 26 Sep, 2021 @ 4:06am
@Avanya
I used Customize it!, but only for the noise levels.
It's the 1st time this happens, and I'm doing it for more buildings, but yours are the only ones to have issues with it...
Avanya  [author] 25 Sep, 2021 @ 1:58pm
@Sterben: Have you perhaps changed any stats for them? Either in the editor or using a mod like Customize It?
Wilhelm924 25 Sep, 2021 @ 10:57am
All of the treatment parts except the laboratory are leaking heavily,
I continuously gets a 'house drowning'-alert around the parts...
Avanya  [author] 23 Sep, 2021 @ 2:20am
@Sterben: Props and trees are never vital to make it work. But I also didn't use the bush when I updated the asset, so it's no longer needed in any way. :P Thanks for reminding me, it's no longer listed as required. :)
Wilhelm924 22 Sep, 2021 @ 8:12am
I got it to work WITHOUT the bush-mod

I've subscribed, but can't find the buildings in game. Where are they located?
RubyRobbins 28 Apr, 2021 @ 7:37pm
I love this! It's beautiful! Well as beautiful as a place full of shit can be :steamhappy:

Thank you <3

@Mizrael I'm not talking about the new "Advanced Inland Water Treatment Plants", though they also unlock at Big City, but about the old, vanilla, "Water Treatment Plant", the one which is aside water. I don't have the last DLC, so I was talking about vanilla.

@Avanya I can understand that. Again, was talking about the vanilla plant, which I'm pretty sure exist from the start of the game. I can understand not wanting to change things for players used to it as it is
Avanya  [author] 18 Apr, 2021 @ 4:58am
I'm pretty unlikely to make changes to when these unlock. They have existed from long before the vanilla ones, and I don't want to suddently lock them for everyone who's been using them for years.
mizrael77 17 Apr, 2021 @ 1:59am
I'm not so sure about the suggestion in the last comment. Even though the addition of the water treatment plants in the last DLC is a welcome one, those buildings have the same shortcomings of ALL vanilla buildings - they are not scalable. As your city grows, you just keep adding water treatment plants. It's annoying having to plop identical buildings while trying to spread them out around your city so they don't look bad. You will even have to plop more than one basic treatment plant before you get to 17k pop and can build the advanced one.
With these buildings from Avanya you only need ONE spot for all your water treatment needs from pop.0 to 1 million. You can start with the administration building and the grit and screen facility which have similar capacity to the vanilla basic treatment plant. Then you can start adding clarifiers and basins one by one.

Awesome pack, I really love it, it makes for such a lovely place in my city to treat my sewage (most of it, really, with all the buildings).
I would just suggest one thing, if it's possible: to put the whole Sewage facility under lock before you unlock the Water Treatment Plant (so Big City, 16k) because it feels a bit cheaty to unlock all those before it and be actually able to manage properly sewage from the start. Especially since they're otherwise pretty balanced.
d.blanxx 31 Mar, 2020 @ 4:11pm
this is gorgeous
wisc 22 Mar, 2020 @ 6:25am
since i am just search for missing dependencies in my game i found this .. adding or removing does not change my list of missing items ..so maybe its not used at all
Avanya  [author] 22 Mar, 2020 @ 6:19am
@wisc: I'll have to check if I used it or not, but in any case if you don't want Bush #3 you can simply leave it. Nothing will be broken if you don't have it. Steam just doesn't give an option to list "used, but not required to work" items. :)
wisc 22 Mar, 2020 @ 6:10am
could it be possible that the Bush #3 is no longer required?
Avanya  [author] 12 Oct, 2019 @ 5:12am
@eibecn: Awesome! Thank you for confirming it works for you too - and for the kind words! ^^
eibecn 11 Oct, 2019 @ 7:40pm
@Avanya: thx for the update, now it works fine :-)
- love all your assets!
Avanya  [author] 11 Oct, 2019 @ 8:09am
@eibecn: It should be fixed now so they show up like they should.
Avanya  [author] 11 Oct, 2019 @ 7:32am
@eibecn: That is weird. It works for my modded city and worked in my test setup, but after uploading to the workshop, it isn't there without mods. Not sure what's up, but I will look into it and fix it.
eibecn 11 Oct, 2019 @ 6:21am
Hey, for some reason the planters (submesh) aren't visible. I tried to replace the building ingame and even unsubscribed and re-subscribe this building, but unfortunately no solution
Fallen 20 Jul, 2019 @ 9:40pm
Turns out they function just fine, there just wasn't enough demand on them in my test environment to see them activating consistently. Thanks for the awesome mod, it's exactly what I was looking for and you nailed it. Better than Green Cities DLC, quality content.

So I've read through most of the comments threads and I'm still having a lot of trouble with getting these connected to water reliably. I've been experimenting to see what works and what doesn't and I haven't really been able to figure anything out. I've tried connecting "in a T to the main line" as you've mentioned (at least as well as I interpreted that) and even that doesn't seem to be working reliably for me. I was wondering if you've come up with any definitive way to ensure there are no problems or maybe just clearer instruction for people like me who can't seem to get it right

No problem and good to hear you have it working. :) I'll definately do more assets - my list of ideas and planned stuff is very long, but hopefully I'll get there eventually. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. Did what you suggested and all is well.
Thanks for all the work youo have put into these assets. I hope you will consider doing some others.
Avanya  [author] 9 Nov, 2017 @ 7:56am
@ngbuck1961: Sometimes water and sewage assets act up with connections. To avoid it I usually connect them in a T to the main line, so it's a dead end to the building. That seems to do it.
514m3353b3t4 9 Nov, 2017 @ 7:45am
Really like this set. Well done on getting these assets to look like the real thing.
However, it doesn't matter what order i connect them in, when i check the stats they all say "not working".
Is there a way they need to be connected or this the way they are meant to be.
