Something similar happened for me a few months ago: at the time the objects appeared in the editor, but after compiling the map they weren't visible, turns out they weren't in the compiled map at all. I checked the log(the window that appears after exporting your map to the game) file and it said to use "prop_dynamic" instead of "prop_static" for some objects.
listen go to ur library and right click on l4d2 and properties then click on set launch options and type in there -dxlevel 98 and press ok
