Is there any hope of more of this type of content from you? I was trying to get a hold of you in regards to getting WMV working.

These are excellent! We are doing a campaign at the moment and our Elf Wizard is using one of these but we also have two Halflings in the party - I hope you do Gnomes soon we could easily use them rather than shrunk humans :)

Love the WoW model packs. Here's hoping for some Trolls and Druid forms sometime!

Keep up the great work!

@Vess Yes, That's my port map. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

It has been a long time since I made a map, I actually have 2 or 3 I haven't uploaded yet. My 3 submissions are all from a D&D session I hosted, and those were maps I made for the campaign. Map making was definitely one of the most enjoyable parts of the hobby for me, so I think if my playgroup gets back together, I'll return to making maps and submitting them.

@Pvt.Parts: That's wonderful! I'm glad your group is coming back to TTS. Also, thank you for the compliments and being supportive of my mod work!

Funny coincidence is that your Dwarf port map(which is still beautifully done!) was one of the first maps my group and I used when we made the jump over to TTS for D&D. And I believe that will have been a year ago as of next month! So I have to ask, will you be making more map uploads? We really enjoyed the attention to detail you put into them with what tools you had available at the time. :dwarfsymbol:

I've taken a break from TTS to play other games lately, but my DnD group has expressed interest in starting up again. I came to the workshop to see what was new, and I saw the name Vess pop up many times. I'm VERY excited to see all the work you've done, and look forward to browsing, subscribing and upvoting your submissions! Keep up the good work friend.

Yeah they are really good too, the wow models just have a few of each class and sex though. Sadly the other packs lack females to fill some of the roles. Anyway I'll be keeping an eye out!

It's definitely on my to-do list. Part of why I've held off on humans is because I already have several uploads devoted to them. I figured those would suffice until I had given some of the other fantasy races some attention first.

However, if you haven't already you should take a look at my Warhammer collection. The Empire has some pretty neat units that could fit the roles of wizards, fighters and rogues, but I understand the model style is quite different from the WoW ones and might feel out of place.

So, in short, yes I do plan on doing human PCs in the near future! :giveityourbest:

Vess, love your work. I hope you plan to do humans next!

@hexus535: Hey there! I'm always happy to help shine some light on the TTS model importing process if I can. TTS has a wonderful modding community and I love seeing more people bring their work to the table (pun sort of intended).

However I do have to ask what you are trying to do/why you are trying to bake the texture? When it comes to WMV imports i've never baked or layered textures onto a model. What you do is take all of the individual texture files exported from WMV, combine them into a single png/jpeg(I normally use pngs and compress them later), seperate all the UVs of the model in blender, then merge all the model sections together so that all the UVs appear together in the editor and reposition them over their new single texture you made in PS. This is what your texture should look like: http://i.imgur.com/79wqzm9.png

Vess I was wondering how do you bake the multi-textures into one texture. I am trying to make a Klaxxi from wow model viewer (called mantid in WMV). I have got my pose picked, sent it to blender as an OBJ, redid the skin and armor textures in Photoshop, and re-mapped the UV to the photoshopped image in blender. However I can’t for the life of me figure out how to bake the darn thing, so I can get a single texture image for TTS. If you would be kind enough to post a Step by step for the baking part so I am not pulling my hair out and can help bring some fun models to the community. I do understand if you want to keep it as a trade secret, but never know unless you ask right. Thanks for your time.

@ionut_onill: You will see in the mod's description that these models are exported from World of Warcraft.

All models look like ripoffs of blood elves in WOW (World Of Warcraft) =D XD LOL :steamhappy:

What's up Vess, I've been messing with exporting models from wow to tts,.. I'd like to ask you a question if u don't mind?
Vess  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 7:57pm
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my work! It means a lot to me (and i'm sure for Luth as well) when the community gives some positive feedback on the content I devote a large amount of my free time to bringing to TTS.

The basics of what I do are not hard to learn if you're willing to put the time into becoming familiar with programs like Blender, Photoshop and 3D Ripper DX. Aside from that you need access to the game you want to export models from, assuming it's compatible with 3D Ripper in the first place. From what I was briefly able to look at FF 11 is an mmo that at least requires you to make a one time purchase of the game (don't know if it has a sub as well). It also seems to use Directx 11 and 3D Ripper can't be used on anything above Directx 9. I glanced at some forums where people were trying to run FF 11 through Dx 9 but it didn't look like they had success. So unfortunately, I don't believe I can export anything from there with what I know at the moment.

Its a game called Final fantasy 11, if i knew how to do it i would but sadly i don't haha, id love to see some of the characters in this as models or even some of the monsters but no stress if you can't vess. gotta say though Love the stuff so far ^^
Vess  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 3:26pm
Well I suppose that would depend on what was being requested. I do have a lot on my plate already in terms of Workshop projects, but I'm always open to suggestions for future work. That being said, tell me what your request is and if it's something I can finish in a reasonable amount of time I might be able to squeeze it in before the new year :MrSkull:
Kitsuru_infernus 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:04pm
Vess do you take requests? :scCatgirl:
