This mod is defunct, I won't be updating it any longer. I recommend using Random New World Improvements instead.

I experiemented with such a mod, but it left far too much empty space between islands. By my judgement I didn't think it would be very enjoyable to play.

Happy you like it! Yes, you can update it manually to 1.15. There shouldnit be any issues, I've just been busy lately and I've been having trouble updating it on my end.

Hi ! First, thanks for making this mod. It improves RNW generation a lot. Sparse islands are OK once in a while, however they pop up most of the time with the standard RNW ; they may as well be cut off.

Just a question : do you intend to update the mod for 1.15 ? Is it safe to just manually change the supported_version line in the .mod file ? I don't think 1.15 altered RNW in any way so manually "updating" the mod should be ok, but I prefer getting the creator's opinion.

I... have no idea, to be honest. I don't know enough about how the generator acts in multiplayer games to give you a solid answer. If this is the only mod you are running, the crash occurs every time, and things run fine without it, then I guess that's what's causing it.

To my knowledge, you can't earn acheivements while it is running. But all mods can be run in ironman mode now.

@MiniZog Yes, all of them so far are compatible with eachother. Everything in the Random New World Improvements collection can run together.

Unfortunately, I think the most likely answer is that it was just that individual game that got a bug. Bit of a non-answer I know, but I can't think of any way this mod would cause that problem. Sorry about your Zazzau game, these things really do suck when they happen :(

I started quickly new campaign and for first month everything was fine. Don't know, maybe it is something messed in this save(no, I didn't change enything manualy in file).

@Elzephor Bad news :( It didn't change anything. It is my first play with this mod and I've never had problems with trade, with or without mods, with RNW too. Only in this game.

@Patrycjuszstar That's very strange. I can't think of anything my mod does that would cause that issue though... it could be a bug with just that game, and the RNW has been known to be buggy with trade stuff. Could you try loading the save without my mod active and see if the same thing happens?

Hi! I have a little problem which is realy annoying. I can't send/recall merchants. Every time I want to do so game crash. I'm using all important dlcs and your mod(only). In previous game, without your mod, only with dlcs, everything was fine. If it is important I play zazzau(africa) and I'm after westernization.

You should make a mod that has dynamic contries; makes them more interesting. Or have this happen to the whole world and have fully populated continents.

@N00braz Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of that rule. The direct download can now be found on the mod's page on the paradox forums, which require you to register your game to access. That should exclude those who haven't bought the game legally.

The reasoning for this is probably that the workshop description is public, so people with cracked copies of the game can access it.

@masterkush Do you have the Conquest of Paradise DLC? That's required for anything to do with the random new world. If the button isn't there, then either you don't own the DLC, or you have it disabled.

@Rarecowpie I'm not sure if I can mod that sea zpme problem, but I'll look into it. I suspect it's just what happens when the game spawns large tiles. Thanks for checking about the ironman compatibility, I'll add that to the description.

I just double-checked and confirmed that this mod is, in fact, ironman compatable, which is great because the continents are so much better than the tiny islands with one or two natives.

I was wondering if anyone else was noticing an issue where you can clearly see the border of the different tiles. It makes the RNW much less attractive, and I don't know if it is a conflict with another mod, an issue with the RNW itself, or something Etzephor might be able to fix, as almost everytime I start up the RNW, I get square ocean borders (the difference in the colours of the water between the tile and the open ocean results in an unnatural border), while before I installed this mod, the interchanges among the tiles seemed to flow very well. Other than that, this mod has been working perfectly, and I've had some interesting RNWs that really either aid the Europeans or screw them over. That I love.

Ahh I just got what you mean't with random regions... I'm guessing what I suggested won't work. A shame really because it could do with some cloth, iron etc.

Amazing work really with this mod. I didn't know about how difficult it is but is there any chance you can make a version that is a single tile with better resources? There is one with 3 large continents that would fit well there.
