Sorry guys, I seem to have inadvertently unsubscribed to the thread. In relation to the questions below:
Skins, because I use tanks from both OKW & Ostheer, the vehicles need to use the skins I set or only half the tanks will be skinned.
Over-Powered, this is the Wehraboo version of my mods. If you want more ballanced, use the others.
Secret Build Tree - is access a special building that is constructed by some driver units, it allows you to access Tier 4 Units from early on... great if you are fighting 4x Expert AI.
I am sorry about the AI, the community 'moded' it & it has struggled ever since. Beyond my control. Just up their level & number.

Another stellar achievement with this set, especially since my go to is either the Hermann Goring Falschirmjaeger OKW or the 2nd Falschirmjaeger Division.

Going to write this comment here and on luftwaffe. This comment is taken from the changelog for the COH3 spearhead mod, "We discovered recently that we’re now able to create new entries in the files rather than just modify what was existing, meaning we’re no longer limited on how many units, buildings, vehicles, or weapons we can create. That makes it much easier for us to create new content where we find necessary. "

Mod looks like amazing way to make keeping units alive rewarding your K/D with .. command points, there you cant win without them .. but problem ... okw units .. vet TOO FAST stug gets vet5 in like 3shots against another stug ? ;-; just flat useless, meks vetting irrelevant .. their make veting very hard but rewarding or dont touch it please .. thats the meaning of units gaining veterancy.

Iv only tested the werchmatch however, The AI doesn't go too well in this mod they get stuck alot and have decision making issues, everything is good, but most is overpowered, like the heavy gun emplacements against AI, the free upgrades are also overpowered (combat package), also the free mg upgrades, i assume all teams have them, are way too op, and just makes it more of a bullet fest, everyone has machine guns, kidna breaks the mechanics.

Great mod, the only complaint that i have is that u cant use any other skins apart from the angriff ones, and SS and luftwaffe have the same units so no diversity, but the gameplay is very good. If u can fix maybe those issues than it would be perfect.

Because the level ups require command points. If you are just killing the enemy without them killing you it can slow them down. Different maps give different results.

I've been playing the different mods off and on for a few months now, but noticed one thing.
The AI doesn't always tech up. I've played games that lasted long enough for me to be getting to the highest tier of units, but the AI hasn't moved past using the first building.

It seems to be a game thing, not necessarily the mod... although I believe the mod makes it worse as it deliberately extends game time. I do not have a cure sorry... it has plagued the game for years once you get near the hour mark. I had hoped the 64bit upgrade would cure it... so disappointed to read it is still happening.

Hi there, I really love this mod but I have an issue where after I've been in a game with my friend for over about an hour, we start slowly lagging. And it progressively gets worse to the point where my friend is about 2-3 minutes behind me. And I'm telling my units orders and it can take like 30 seconds for it to happen. Any ideas? None of my hardware is bottle necking, running a pretty good rig. Thanks for this great mod

Glad you love the mod, Finlandia is my favourite of the series.

On vehicle crews, it is not always that they spam them by creation, it is most often they retreat them from destroyed vehicles & replenish them, & then send them back into battle. They do replenish squads & recrew weapons with them. But I will look into putting a max number cap on them to stop them being so prolific. I am just waiting on this current 64 bit update to become tweaked enough, then will rebuild the 4 mods from the ground up.

Most of the weapons are default, in as much as they get changed with there 6 monthly 'Meta' tweaks for the competative guys. Only some of the tank & bunker MG weapons have been changed.. to allow AA fire. So in answer to the question... what-ever the Meta settings are this week is what they will do.

Third to last picture explains. The mod used to be quite OP, built very much to comp stomp against 4 expert AI. But as I got bored with that, & then found joy playing the other nations I made the mod more ballanced. But for the previous users & myself to comp-stomp still, I made a building that only the drivers of the first vehicle you start the game with can build. It allows you to build some strong units from the beginning so you can still go against 4 expert AI if you wish.

Another thing that helps is just having 2 player types on the map, ie. 4x USA vs 4x OKW.

It is a memory leak in the game since COH1, the 64bit version gets around it. by utilising more memory... but I quietly suspect the leak is still there. The mod worked well until they gave infantry units collision boxes & individual path finding. The game has been suck since. My increased sight & ranges exacerbate this issue.

It certainly is not a CPU problem, as my 7 year old lap top run its fine. You really need the 64bit beta to run it sorry. The Beta is available via your STEAM interface (see 5 posts below). It is scheduled for proper release early January, so your call.

Is there a way for you to optimize the mod to all versions rather than 64 bit? I tend to wonder this mod only works on HIGH PERFORMANCE computers since mine has been holding on with abit of lag at the start and then crash 18 mins into the match.

You need to restart sometimes, after it has down loaded... it is a horrid interface for a great game... I sometimes use the modding hub & select the mod from there & go play, it can force it load then.

That is frustrating! All I can say is welcome to COH2... where a great game is currently managed & maintained by incompitants. Keep trying with the 64bit version. I had to restart a few times, plus rebuild the files via the STEAM launcher. The disconects are happening a bit more at the moment because people are going on holiday so more more players=more load on the server... I have been finding the same... now & last year also.

Glad you like the mod, it is OP as OKW, butt I play it against 3 expert AI. The Finlandia Angriff is my favourite in the series. I have a swag of maps & skins also. Love the game... hate the developers.

All factions have something similar... it was needed to kill the games & give it a finish before the memory leak/load caused crashes. That doesn’t seem to be happening with the 64-bit version... so I may/will adjust when the 64bit version goes live out of beta.

Is the author aware you can call in 3 x Tiger B at battle phase 3 for command points but no pop cap cost??? great mod, but that's a game breaker as there is no limit, you just keep pounding, i had 15 x Tiger B, 6 Flak Half Track, 6 artillery, 6 x stormpioneer, 3 x grenadier, lots of arty and spare units and had a pop cap of 63/150 lmfao.:lunar2019grinningpig:

Infantry can’t be modded skin wise in COH2 unfortunately. The skin packs look after the tanks & vehicles. You need them if you want camo’d German vehicles... otherwise you will just have a mix of tan shades.

Most important is to download the 64bit beta,,, as it returns this mod back to its original stability... as it was before Relic ‘updates’.

Hey, these mods/tunings look really interesting, have you thought about making an italian agriff mod if the AI gets fixed? i would love to have something like that, too bad the only mod that does that is effectively broken making every faction the same units.

Not sure if your still supporting this mod but I do enjoy it thanks, I just wish it was more reliable maybe 1 in 5 games complete I unequipped the decals and I'm using your skins but still it crashes my pc is very capable i7 @ 4.2 gtx 1080 16gb system of memory ssd's and running @ 1920x1080 min frames are 70 do you have any updates coming or any tips?

This game, mods & maps are effectively ruined by the latest patch of April 2020. I completely screws the AI, turning it into an actionless camper. I would encourage my subscribers to go vote on a poll I put up to get this latest patch reversed.

Got there in the end.

Hay thanks for your help with that, it actually cured another bug I had not been able to track down where people said that German Infantry where destroying tanks in one shot. What I found was the Grenadiers where all using the panzerfaust (which I thought I had removed) all at the same time. So good spotting.

@Glassman Airbourne guards are now sorted. Thanks also.

yes, the grenadier from the second building. I just downloaded the mode two days ago, so I think it's current. I was using jager infantry commander. I just produced a squad of grenadier then when they engage with enemy there start have panzerfausts beside of them, and would fire as well.
