What mod you recommend to make it playable in the campaign?
Aristoxenus 18 Jun, 2019 @ 8:17pm
Have you realized that Aurelio, King of the Asturians look way more Byzantine than Isaac of the Eastern Roman Empire, Theme of Sicily?
Dynamike89 30 Jan, 2018 @ 1:51pm
Does not work. I combined it with all factions unlock but still vanilla units....
Fresh Prince of Solaire 10 Sep, 2016 @ 11:40am
Love these reskins! Only downside is with this mod toggled I am unable to select the Slavs or the FLC Garamentians faction. Not sure if you're still updating this or not, but just thought I'd bring that up.
Machiavel 21 Mar, 2016 @ 7:52am
Thank's =)
Thunder Bagel  [author] 19 Mar, 2016 @ 12:24pm
Alright guys it's been updated. Sorry for the long wait
PAWN 19 Mar, 2016 @ 11:53am
No worries, I'm guessing since the Slavic dlc release it changed the startpos. To include maybe new Slavic units or mercs for the Slavs in aoc.
Thunder Bagel  [author] 19 Mar, 2016 @ 11:50am
Yeah sorry guys. I'll try to get to it today
PAWN 19 Mar, 2016 @ 11:45am
It needs to be updated.
Machiavel 10 Mar, 2016 @ 11:19am
It does not work.
Mars 27 Feb, 2016 @ 4:42pm
update please:steamhappy:
PAWN 26 Feb, 2016 @ 5:11pm
Another thing i notice (not related to your mod) is that some armor in some of the theme unit packs mods are invisible (most likely a conflict with the slavic armor)
Thunder Bagel  [author] 26 Feb, 2016 @ 4:44pm
Strange. I'll look into it
PAWN 26 Feb, 2016 @ 4:06pm
Currently not working with the latest patches and dlc :(
Capfuz 27 Dec, 2015 @ 7:12pm
Love this mod, thanks alot! 10/10 :)
Thunder Bagel  [author] 18 Dec, 2015 @ 7:10pm
I know but people like seeing the Roman Empire.
Tennessee Wildman 18 Dec, 2015 @ 7:00pm
The Theme of Sicily and the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) are not the same thing. When their Italian holdings were lost the Theme of Sicily was a self governing part of the empire and then and independant kingdom
Collin Lefty 12 Dec, 2015 @ 4:49pm
Technically Theme of Sicily is correct, but it is a theme not a faction. Invading Sicily would be akin to declaring war on the ENTIRE empire, not simply the one theme. This mod in a small way just makes the Theme seem a little more connected to the Roman Empire.
Thunder Bagel  [author] 12 Dec, 2015 @ 2:15pm
Uhh ok
Brb leveling acrobatics 12 Dec, 2015 @ 2:00pm
yeah dawg sicily was but one part of their empire, dont hate on CA being right.
Wijsen 12 Dec, 2015 @ 12:06pm
Calling it the theme of sicily is historical correct. Since we are not fighting the full Roman Empire. Basilea Ton Rhomaion. But just one theme out of many in the Empire. After all this takes place when the Thematic Reforms have taken place. The Army should still look like a descendant of the Eastern Roman Army graphics wise.
Thunder Bagel  [author] 12 Dec, 2015 @ 10:26am
Yeah I saw that one. I'll work on it when I get the time
PAWN 12 Dec, 2015 @ 10:18am
found a mod on the workshop that makes them playable
Thunder Bagel  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 5:04pm
Well I'll keep an eye on the forums and hopefully they figure it out
Collin Lefty 11 Dec, 2015 @ 4:55pm
Jack Lusted from CA posted on a thread on their website that the faction was not intentionally locked, and that they didn't know why people had been unable to sucessfully do so yet. So it isn't coded into the game to be nonunlockable. Just wish this could be figured out, as I for one greatly desire to play as Rome in this era.
Thunder Bagel  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 4:41pm
That's lua scripting. That takes time to learn
PAWN 11 Dec, 2015 @ 4:40pm
I have done some digging, i think you need to edit the campaign events
PAWN 11 Dec, 2015 @ 3:45pm
This is a superb mod and i can't wait for it to be playable on the map. :steamhappy:
Thunder Bagel  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 1:59pm
Hey guys, as of right now, no one has figured out how to make AoC factions playable. When we get it figured out, I'll update this mod. Thank you
Garuda 11 Dec, 2015 @ 1:14pm
I prefer the Theme of Sicily to the Roman Empire
Eunea 11 Dec, 2015 @ 1:00pm
I confirm what RonBurgundy says.
I'm really new to modding. But with the tutorial I used, I've managed to unlock in standard campaign the Bastarnians faction. The same method in AoC don't work. I hope CA don't have in mind to release a faction pack for AoC -.-
Anyway, I'm looking for some help!
Walther 11 Dec, 2015 @ 12:49pm
could you make a separate mod where you make them playable in campaign?
daxt2 11 Dec, 2015 @ 10:13am
also, is there a way u can make another mod that changs them to byzantine empire instead of roman? thanks!
daxt2 11 Dec, 2015 @ 10:11am
please make them playable for campaign :)
Thunder Bagel  [author] 11 Dec, 2015 @ 6:49am
Update: the Romans are now available for custom battle!
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 8:50pm
Ok guys so can't make the Romans playable right now but I can make them playable in custom battle. I'll update this mod when its ready!
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 8:33pm
Totally agree. Hopefully someone figures it out
Collin Lefty 10 Dec, 2015 @ 8:18pm
Multiple factions have unique rosters, but even so I really like the look of the Roman ones in this game. It seems such a wasted opportunity to not make them playable. It is essentially a way to start as a weak Roman faction without becoming ahistorical.
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 7:44pm
I'd love to make them playable because in the files, it shows that CA gave the Romans a completely unique roster. Don't know why they didn't make them playable so they could show it off...
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 7:15pm
Hey guys so I thought making a faction playable in Attila would be the same process as in Rome 2. Well, I was wrong and I can't figure out how to make the Romans playable.
Collin Lefty 10 Dec, 2015 @ 6:47pm
Awesome, as soon as I saw the name they had given this faction I was hoping someone would do this. Also, glad you called it what it was, as to call it the Byzantine Empire would have been an anachronism for the time period.
ProbusVerus 10 Dec, 2015 @ 5:11pm
Love it man hope to see playable Byzantines soon! :)
Plsdontuse6pool 10 Dec, 2015 @ 3:10pm
Doing God's work friend, when can we expect to have playable Byzantines if you don't mind me asking?
daxt2 10 Dec, 2015 @ 2:29pm
nice!
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 12:06pm
You would need photoshop to make that. I do not have it
Redman 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:51am
Kind of off topic, but could you make a Kingdom of England emblem for Mercia?
Gewürzgurkenpriester 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:17am
yes can you make them playable?
Thunder Bagel  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:08am
I'm working on it
Topher 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:06am
Would love it if you made them playable, since nobody else has yet.
