how to pull logs

I can't seem to get this vehicle to attach logs without a trailer, which is how it's meant to work, I'm pretty sure. There's another version of this vehicle on the workshop that lets me do this, but it only works with medium and long logs, no short logs apparently. I really want this feature in my game but either I'm missing something or I have a problem with the mod. When I try to load logs to this it bounces the vehicle slightly and says it's blocked. I really want to do it with the loose logs because I have a map that is meant for doing exactly this.

can you mod 1 of your skidders with grapples so we can pick up loose loggs, also dont forget to put loose loggs in the woods without roads like in real life. skidders make there own way to the fallen trees. Thank you very much for the work you do, i am a logger from the north west , usa. Feel free to pick my brain for ideas if you need or want from a Real Life Logger. Excellent work!!!!! So far ( Grapples on skidders, and loose long, and medium loggs is all that needs tweeked and you got it spot on Sir}}}}

2 of my "skidder run series" maps are now on oovee and these map are made with intent to use with a skidder I.E this one

Look for D/L and get skidding logs on skidder built maps "level_skidderuse" and "level_skidderhill

i am making a series of skidder dedicated maps to simulate skidder logging here in canada, i love the LKT81 but doesnt feel right on most maps but i find most maps are for offroading rather then logging and most logging maps are made by people that have never seen a clear cut or seen forestry machines in action
my skidder map series is aimed towards giving you the true logging feel in forestry machinery
i have real exp. with logging i was a chainsaw operator for a few yrs and worked closely with and operated skidders and forwarders
keep an eye out for my 1st 2 maps submitted to spintires.nl "level_skidderuse" and level_skidderhill" and check my recent screenshots for map pics and p.m me for a early copy (the guy running spin.nl is away and the maps wont be up for a week)

it looks good. a pity spintires doesn't support grading, because this would be a useful tool with that dozer attachment. It needs a crane attachment to make it truly great.

I fucking love garrets/ skidders

Really nice, my go-to vehicle for ripping stumps and moving rocks, that plough is excellent. Having trailers basically makes the K-700 totally redudant compared to this.

The only thing I would suggest is make the plough move faster, it can be a bit annoying when grading over several slopes and you need to adjust it a lot.
Also not sure what shield articulation is for (future addons?) but looks cool. If this was height adjustable like the blade, you could bulldoze in both directions. :)
