я уже писал об этом - авары, тем более значтные, не могли быть пешими, поэтому я сделал "знатных мечников" воинами из покорённых/примкнувших племён, коими являлись славяне и германцы. это наиболее исторически верно.

It's actualy the last years of Avar Khaganate. So they were very assimilate with europeans. And not the fact Avars was mogoloid theyselfs.

I just can't understand why they changed the appearance of Avars? They have to be Asian looking but I can not see a single Asian looking soldier in the game... Can anyone settle this problem?

@Commissar John Fuklaw. This is the point. The noble Avars couldn't be the infantry at all. That's why I made them as Slavic/Germans. Let's call them - elite infantry representing conquered peoples.
