The rear wheels keep breaking off, even when harvesting.

@jackattack
1:another level designer and me worked on the campaign. so you could say we created it together.
2: two reasons, I honestly did not intend them to be from the R.u.s.t. faction and because nearly all of those ships were designed for looks in the campaign. but their function is quite terrible. they have no interiors etc.

Two Questions?
1. For The Champaign Did You Create The Corporate ROS4 Faction, Or Was It Another Person from KSH
2. Why Have not all the Good R.U.S.T. Ships Released Yet, For Example The Rebel Dropship mk.1
Thankyou :steamhappy:

@jackattack
its a long time ago. I think it was a tiny factory from where the harvesters could opperate. but it was not a finnished or funtional base as far as I remember.

On The First Screenshot What Is The Building In The Distance?
Aragath  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 10:21am
@Hun7er
the rear wheels are attached to rotors. not actual suspensions.
this is so I can make the car drive by itself on a low pace.
normal wheels can be stacked.

What wheels are used as rear wheels ???
exoMega 16 Oct, 2016 @ 10:48pm
Nice one! I will use this in survival mode. One question: How do I lock the wheels at an angle to make it go in circles automatically?

@bigbadvoodoodady_1
You can use this on multiple ways. when you sit in the pilot seat, activate the timer block to make the harvester slowly move forwards and mine by itself. it works on ice lakes only.

you can program the remote controll by giving it a coordinate where it is supose to stop(might have to increase the gyroscopes power) , and set the remote controll action to trigger the time so that the harvester stops at the coordinate.

you can set the antenna in te timer so you will know when it is done.

or, simple start the timer block again so that the harvester will stop after a couple of minutes / hour. it will drive forwards or in circles if you set the wheels in an angle.

hope this helps.

Argath please explain your most recent post... is this a turn-key solution, or do I have to program the equipment to go into autopilot? Will it automatically drill on lake beds? Or do I have to give coordinate and it just goes and sits there and waits? How does this work?
Aragath  [author] 4 Feb, 2016 @ 6:56am
@huskystar Autopilot doenst work with wheeled vehicles. this one works because the rear wheels are attatched to rotors that can be turned on to make the vehicle move. the vehicle will need a gyroscope and a remote controll block that has preset co-ordinates. it can slightly adjust the course of the vehicle until it reaches the coordinate where it will turn the rotors off.

I ahvent tried this yet but I could not get auto pilot working with my rover is their anything i special i need to do other then allow it to control wheels?.

It just collect ices or stones
PantsAreAnOption 24 Dec, 2015 @ 5:48pm
this would work so much better with the old drills. shame they changed it. never had lag problems with them :/

I thought this was cool so I went ahead and modify the old Collector and increase its pickup depth. This means the collectors can now be in the chassis of the vehicle and have any wheel height. check it out

You are genius!
Dr Fraud 22 Dec, 2015 @ 5:31pm
You could minimise some of the risk of damage whilst relocating the harvester by adjusting the ride height.
Aragath  [author] 22 Dec, 2015 @ 2:03pm
@autowar, I have to admit. I havent tested this build as I normaly would. I just thought it was a shame not to upload a finnished project.
Autowar 22 Dec, 2015 @ 1:26pm
I am downloading and testing this now.
ThirtyMileSniper 21 Dec, 2015 @ 9:13pm
I can't blame you about the mod thing, i feel the same due to the strong chance they become obsolete from an update. I am tempted by a few though.
Aragath  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 4:30pm
@Estredar & @thirtyMileSiper
I Dont use mods. And minimise the use of any moving parts like rotors and pistons because, indeed, long term conditionning. thats why I uploaded this.
Estredar 21 Dec, 2015 @ 4:03pm
@ ThirtyMileSniper People are still... hesitant to use Rotors and such, long term conditionning mind you.
ThirtyMileSniper 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:33pm
With the issue of the small bumbs damaging the gear how does it manage with the second pass over harvested ice surfaces?

If you mount the drills to the side or rear with the hinge mod it would offer some flexibility. I saw this demonstrated on LSGs last video with his wheeled welder.
